| Miss Iowa National Pre-Teen and Petite Pageant |
| Alyssa and Janeane have done the Miss Iowa National Pre-Teen Pageant in the past and have won several awards with this system. Due to this year (2002) being the last year they decided to compete in it for the last time. Both girls did well and Janeane will be going to the National Pre-Teen Princess Pageant. As Alyssa was in the Top 3 State Talent, she was invited to participate in the National Pre-Teen Talent Competition which she has chosen not to attend. The State Pageant was held July 12-13, 2002 in Muscatine, Iowa. The National Pageant will be held Thanksgiving weekend in Orlando, Florida. |
