Mr. Dilip Lama, founder of Nepal Kidney Care Foundation (NKCF), established Lama Medical Consultancy in 1997. Mr. Lama himself being the kidney patient previously and having undergone the trauma of kidney patient, intends to help the Kidney Patients. He had his kidney transplanted at "Our Lady Willingdon Hospital" Chennai, India on 11th of March 1997. He then established Nepal Health Foundation in 2000 to widen his current services. Nepal Health Foundation has been organizing various health public awareness programs, thus making difference in the Health Sector of Nepal. LMC with NHF takes pride in rendering services to Kidney patients globally by providing them with all the necessary information's. We would also like to widen our services in the near future by providing Medical Consultancy and Service in other areas such as Cancer, Heart, Hypertension, Diabetics and Orthopedics and we will not only confine our services to Nepalese people but our neighboring countries as well.

Tackling kidney related problem is a complex task in itself and so is the disease pattern prevalent in developing countries like Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The problem is mainly due to the prevalent socioeconomic situation. It is still a costly affair for doctors and health care personnel's involved in this field and patient information and dissemination about the medical facilities for these patients is very minimal in these region due to the cost involved. With the advent of computers and internet this gap is narrowed down in the matter of dissemination of education materials to all including doctors, nurses, technicians social workers, patients and public as well. In order to utilize this vast resource and share it with all involved in the Kidney Care and to carry on the aims and objectives of preventive and promotive health care (especially kidney care) this web site is compiled for all involved in this daunting task and most of all to create an awareness to "AVOID KIDNEY ATTACKS"
