With four classic Goth-Metal music videos at this DVD release�s core, �The Creation� features the full-bloodied intensity of the Torso Horse swan-songs in �In Your Head,� �Dragging Me Down,� �The Angel You�ll Never Be� and �Let It Out� - the latter video having been shot in an exhilarating live setting, showing off the extent to which �Horse fans get riled up at their hot and sweaty gigs.
Since Torso Horse burst onto the Goth-Metal scene some five years ago, the band has gone from strength to strength, having released two utterly amazing albums - �Freakshow� and �The Invisible Enemy�: both to widespread acclaim, right around the world.
While the band line-up has changed somewhat since the initial Torso Horse set-up first set-out, songwriter and band founder Adam Towse is still the band front man. To be fair, you couldn�t imagine the band without him up front.
In �The Creation,� Adam talks candidly about the band�s success, whilst behind-the-scenes footage of the music videos that feature on the DVD makes for engrossing entertainment. Locations for such videos have ranged from the farm on which Adam lives, to a nightclub in the centre of the band�s hometown of Bridlington. The quality of the videos is mind-blowing; all are big-budget extravaganzas, and in every single frame you can see where the money has been spent. Because videos are so vital in helping to promote music these days, no expense has been spared, and as a result of the time, effort and money that was invested into the videos, the videos have featured prominently on various music channels on Sky TV, further promoting the band�s music far and wide.
Five years down the line since initial inception, Torso Horse is a band that is dynamic and always exciting. �The Creation - Part 1� perfectly reflects the fact that we have so far witnessed the formative years of both a highly respected and commercially successful band. Hopefully, in another five years time, �The Creation - Part 2� will be released, documenting how Torso Horse went from being national Goth-Metal treasures, to true international superstars.
God knows that these devils deserve all the attention that they so ardently seek.
