'Cock rock!!!!!!!!!!!' spits the Super Race singer at the start of 'Why Boy?' And I'm excited� in fact, I can't remember the last time I was this excited by a punk rock 'n' roll band. But Super Race are ace, with a certain runaway Sex Pistols-devised swagger in the verses, and then a seriously rocked-up T-Rex pout come the 'I'm not good enough to be your boy - and I'm bored' chorus.
Likewise, 'No Beef' is full-on and reminiscent of old skool anthemic punk masters The Vibrators no less! Rampaging on about the Vietnam War and B-52s in the desert sky, the frontman wails 'I ain't done nothing wrong.' He can say that again. Super Race haven't done anything wrong either.
And I'm still just as excited just thinking about these 2 songs, let alone hearing them in all their uncompromisingly breathless glory�
