MAKE HER CRY WRITINGS ON THE WALL
(single/ HUMANFLY RECORDS)

If the band name Make Her Cry might hint at the style of music they adopt, youll still never ever prepare yourself for the scope that these guys go all out to explore with their uber-cool brand of heavy Emo. Not quite nu-metal by nature, though they do exhibit a liking for the genre, this music is proudly and boldly built upon Sam Westaways & Lee Halletts scaling, charging and emotion-mining angular guitar rock riffs and Steve Waddletons severely complex-sounding and frantic thunderclap drum-beat undercurrents that keeps Chris Fagans bass buoyant enough for frontman Paul Graham to be heard like the hell of a frontman he sounds to be while Writing On All Four Walls.
This single may herald just two new songs from the Somerset-settled quintet, but the quality is overpowering enough to keep yall entertained, produced as it was by Mark Williams whos previously worked with Sikth.
Entrance of A Separated Couple is the highlight and shows off this bands strengths to the max, as the guitar riffage threatens to take off and the startling dynamics remind of Biffy Clyros best bits, as the pace and intensity stupyfyingly chops and changes from fast to slow, before angsty rites of passage gingerly beat up moments of exquisite tenderness.
Let alone making her cry, their outright passion might just bring tears to YOUR eyes!
