�Dedicated to the countless bands and artists fighting and working to make the UK a more free, entertaining, rock and roll country,� �Every Little Thing Counts� overlooks the efforts of all promotors, writers and fans who support the industry, then. Gizz Butt is Janus Stark�s mainman, formerly the �live� guitarist for Brit dance-rock innovators The Prodigy, and while nothing�s new in the �Stark raving rad world, here�s a grass roots pop-punk band that�s too good to be overlooked. �Every Little Thing�� is as dependable as sunrise and sunset, commercial and polished to its uplifting Offspringy chorus. Energy and enthusiasm bind these 3 lads to their brand of rock, that could so apathetically be secreted onto a bandwagon-wagered shag-pile, given the sheer volume of bands plugging such similarly pounding music. Thank fuck, now, that Janus realise melody�s the key to the secret of success. �Stop Gap� (�Your friends question your intentions�) is immediately harder and rock-rifling, slamming pedals to more metal. Still, it�s little more than kid-orientated rock (Nah, I aren�t discriminating � but it�s too fickle and thematically light-weight to be classed as �AOR�), jolly green giant hooks spying for a killing above the routine of it all, as the stop-gap�s repetitively drilled into us for the bulk of its 4mins 20 seconds, yet still escapes the danger of becoming obnoxious. Their �Clique� demo is another lengthy stab - @ 4mins 21 - in mainstream punk�s favour, more obviously promoting youth�s virtues and hedonism: �I�ve reached my cut-off point� do you wanna be accepted in our crowd?� Unashamedly undemanding and uninspired, it doesn�t matter � it�s all done in such a driven spirit that �ELTC� is a CD that can be thrown on any time to ensure you�ll greet yourself, bouncing backwards, with a smile.
