HAYLEY HUTCHINSON
HERES THE LOVE

(single/ GUT)

The beautiful and seriously talented daughter of solo performer John Hutchinson (who was one of the guitarists to play onstage with David Bowie on the night that Ziggy Stardust was killed off), York-based Hayley here presents her sublime debut single release.

There are three tracks on this single, and all three can also be heard on her fantastic debut album, Independently Blue. The lead tune in Heres The Love is summery, upbeat and lush - a feel-good love song thats blessed with a strong and catchy chorus, with Hayley coming on like a female version of Hawksley Workman. Her voice really is that enchanting and versatile.

Minor Key, similarly, is a beautifully original and mid-paced song anchored by a firm drum-beat and an emotionally sensitive vocal performance that echoes the tenderness heard in the voice of Edwina Hayes. Happy Endings further proves that Hayley subtly injects heart and soul into every aspect of her work, with the style of her songs being steeped in both maturity and integrity.

If the likes of KT Tunstall can make a name for herself with her music, then surely Hayleys music is destined to win over the masses too - for Heres The Love, and now its over to you.
