And the DDCL bandwagon retroactively rumbles on, with a special preview of just this one raucous song! And it�s no secret that their �Secrets� is cowboy rock at its best, a Godzilla-sized guitar hook feeding the vibe to singer Hilda who�s soul and compassion bring the vocals to life.
Hilda does remind of Axl Rose and, likewise, this London based band of rock �n� roll chums do sound out of place in the current rock market. Thank God!
Their need to create sheer anthems has to be applauded, and while their style may be old-hat, the important thing is that this song - like those on 2002�s wicked �4 Your Love� EP - is catchier than a dose of sentimentality at your childrens� school plays. Not that these rockers are that soft� and not even this ace CD lives up to their amazing live performances.
Go on� you go and see a Drugdealer Cheerleader gig in a town near you, and I guarantee that if you don�t walk away completely in awe of the energy embroiled, I�ll emigrate to Ethiopia and rename myself Tintin Troublingdick. As Hilda would chant, �C�mon! C�mon! C�mon!! (STEVE RUDD)
