In some scatty split-second of genius down some Manchester pub, rock pioneering 3-piece - and devout masters of melody - the Doves decided in all their collective wisdom to release this classic anthem �There Goes The Fear� - from their second LP �The Last Broadcast� - as a severely limited edition, 1-track-only single. To boost sales, naturally. Because if it says �limited edition� it is, and it thus might be worth a coupla quid more than the RRP you originally bought it for should�ya keep it in mint condition for the next 37 years� so collectors and non-collectors, Doves lovers and haters alike rushed out in frenzied waves to fight for a copy. To extents. Because, like The Manics� �Masses Against The Classes� Millennium single, there always seems to be quarryfuls of copies in major and minor retailers alike, forever after forever. So they aren�t really that limited or that �special,� unless the song is as good as this, a pretty essential feel-good song for summer lovers, these 3 guys suggesting all in this sweet love song is comfortable and that they�re content� �but don�t look back when leaving town.� OH, there goes a twinge of the fear and a hint of imperfect perfection, then.
