| The year before his breakthrough with 1988�s �Die Hard� blockbuster, �87�s BLIND DATE�s a romantic comedy with Bruce Willis slowly falling for Kim Basinger, despite her systematically wrecking his life by losing his job, getting his car done-over etc. Used to romanticising after the TV series �Moonlighting,� Willis thinks Basinger�s pretty, but she ain�t that hot - and never was in her prime. Directed by Blake Edwards, the last half-hour when Willis breaks-into the mansion occupied by Basinger and the creep she�s being forced into marrying is farcically fun, the happy-ever-after ending sealing this movie as ridiculously unbelievable.
