Rating: ** 1/4 Orton gets a match with Rhyno after he was eliminated with Rhyno in last weeks fatal 4 by 5 match. Per Randy's request the match is made. He was looking to show of what he could do in a one on one match up with the man beast and looked as if he was going to win the match. That is until Raven showed up once again, leading to questions about this alliance that Raven and Rhyno have seemed to make. Rhyno distracted referee Brian Hebner and as he did, while Orton had been knocked out of the ring, Raven nailed The Evenflow on the concrte floor knocking Randy out cold. Hebner turned in time to count him out. After he called for the bell, Raven climbed in the ring and grabbed a microphone, the ring side officials had to call for the stretcher, they were tending to Randy as Raven began to speak. Raven: The Raven giveth, and the Raven taketh away. Orton, you, like Styles suffer from the same syndrome that so many are showing today. You are the people who I loathe most. The arrogant pretty boy, the stupid jock, the glamour boy who seeks approval from the mass of trogladites that come here every week. It makes me sick. I wretch in the presence of people like you and I've made it my duty, to eradicate the world of the plastic perfect world you try to create. Let the world see what horror lies ahead for them. This is the only way that I will ever be fully appreciated. Your time has ended. Quote the Raven, nevermore. Raven then tosses the mic aside and slides out of the ring, Rhyno following him as the attendants try to bring Randy back to conciousness. Dick Crusher: Can you believe that Lenny? What is wrong with this guy Raven? Lenny Nabisco: Nothing, I happen to agree with him, guys like Orton give us real good looking guys a bad name. Dick Crusher: Right Lenny, keep dreaming. The Young Lions (Christian York and Joey Matthews) defeated Billy Kidman and Paul London when Joey Matthews pinned London with the Inverted DDT in 0:20:30. Rating: *** Both teams put on a strong match and during the match the Outlawas appeared on the ramp to get a better view of 4 of there 6 opponents for next weeks Revolution. The Young Lions looked a step better than London and Kidman, but both teams put on a fantastic match and it should be interesting to see if the momentum carries over to next weeks tag title fatal 4 way match. The Outlaws dissaperead back to the back after the match. Kidman and London, shook the hands of the Young Lions showing their respects for eachother but also holding a firm gaze on them, to let them know that they were far from through yet. Steve Austin pinned The Undertaker with the Stone Cold Stunner in 0:04:33. Rating: ** Austin who was furious with both Kane and Undertaker after last weeks fatal 4 by 5 match called out Taker later in the week challenging him to a match at Revolution. The Undertaker was only all too happy to accept the invitation. Austin was interviewed prior to the match by Kelly Rothingstein. He told her that what happened last week was a bunch of bull and that if Taker and Kane hadn't teamed up on him it never would have happened, and Taker was a dumb ass because Kane turned on him in the end and go the better of him. So this week he was going to extract some revenge on Taker, and show the world why it takes two big dead bastards to beat one rattlesnake, by beating the un-holy hell out of the Undertaker. The match was a back and forth battle from the opening bell, but after just 4 and a half minutes, AUstin was able to come out of no where with a Stone Cold Stunner and get a pin fall that seemed to suprise even him. He had his hand raised in victory, but as he was celebrating and gettitng ready to down a few brews, Taker sat up, then stood up, and gave Austin the deadest coldest stare. Austin opened his beer in his hand and then threw it at the undertaker who began walking towards Austin, Austin chraged at Taker taking him down to the mat. But Taker just shoved him aside and rose back to his feet. Austin then slid out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair, sliding back in, taking a swing at Taker who grabbed the chair with one hand and tossed it aside, but as he was tossing it aside Austin got another quick boot in and stunned the deadman again. Austin made his way out of the ring, and Taker only sat right back up again, Austin looking a tad spooked just smirked and continued towards the back. If its any indication from the match, it looks like these two aren't through yet, and we could be looking at a war here if things continue to heat up like this. Evolution (Batista and Triple H) defeated Chris Benoit and Sabu when Triple H pinned Benoit after a spinebuster slam in 0:18:44. Rating: *** 3/4 It was a big suprise to see Sabu team with the guy who at one time broke his neck. But it was the match made, and Benoit was not real thrilled about tagging with the Genocidal homicidal, suicidal maniac known as Sabu. Though never one to shirk his duty, Benoit teamed up with him and the two took it two Evolution pretty well until later in the match when Flair got involved, getting Sabu distracted, allowing both Batista and HHH to get the upper hand. Benoit was taken down by HHH and pinned to get the win. Evolution satisfied with their cheap victory headed off, but things were just getting heated up, because a furious Sabu came into the ring, Bill Alfonso tossed Sabu a chair and he mounted the top turnbuckle nailing the Arabian face buster on his partner. Benoit looked to be out cold in the ring. Sabut and Alfonso left the ring and headed to the back. They were stopped by Kelly Rothinstein who asked why they did that to Benoit. Alfonso just went on and on about how Sabu had never forgiven Benoit about his neck and how Chris Benoit is useless to the wreestling world now. A few moments later, Raven approached Bill Alfonso. They dissapeared into a shadowy corner. Dick Crusher: What do you think is going on there? Lenny Nabisco: Raven is probably seeking advice for his match later on. Dick Crusher: Lenny stop playing dumb, something shady is going on, what is it that Raven is up to. He's already got Rhyno going out of his way to help him. It looks like an ECW reunion the way its going. Raven is a sick twisted indvidual and I don't trust him, with his mind games, and Rhyno's brute strength its enough trouble, if he brings Sabu into the fold, now you got a crazy man as well. This is dangerous territory for Genesis wrestling. Lenny Nabisco: Whatever Dick, its good for the fed. We need more people like this. People who stand up for the rights of the rest of us! Dick Crusher: Do you even know what your talking about? The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Jesse James) and Edge defeated The Dudley Boys (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) and Spike Dudley when Edge pinned Bubba after a rolling reverse cradle in 0:03:41. Rating: ** 1/4 The Dudleys were not happy after losing the 6 man tag match but they promised to get the tag titles next week from the Outlaws, stating that Edge would not be there to help them win and that they couldn't beat themon their own. AJ Styles defeated Rey Mysterio by disqualification in 0:02:29. Rating: 3/4* What would have been a classic match between Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles turned into another beat down for Styles. About 2 and half minutes into the match Rhyno and Raven appeared together at ringside. Raven tripped up AJ causing a dq. Rhyno then gored the hell out of Rey Mysterio knocking him out of the ring leaving A.J. stuck between Rhyno and Raven both. A.J. stood his ground and tried to attack Rhyno then go for Raven, but he was thwarted by the two men who started pummeling him into the corner. Rhyno grabbed a hold of him, holding him down whiel Raven laid punches to his face over and over till A.J. was busted open in the center of the ring. Not satisfied with the damage he'd caused at that point, Raven went to the outside and set up a chair. Rhyno threw A.J. to the ropes and raven nailed him with a drop toe hold to the edge of the chair. A.J. was a bloody mess, but they weren't done yet, Rhyno threw A.J. to the ropes one last time, and nailed him with a monster Gore sending A.J. crashing through the ropes backwards and on to the concrete. Dick Crusher: WHAT IS GOING ON!!?! Somebody get out here and help him!!! Lenny Nabisco: SEE! Raven follows through on his promises! He will get rid of Styles and I for one am glad! Dick Crusher: They are trying to end his career Lenny!! A.J. loves this buisness and the fans are crazy about him!! Raven is SICK!!! He's just plain SICK! Rhyno is no better. Can't anybody stop these two guys!?? Lenny Nabisco: Well from the looks of tonight, I don't think so, the hit list has seen 2 guys go down so far. Well 3 if you count Mysterio over there. Dick Crusher: Look at that sicko Raven, standing over A.J.'s broken body and taunting him!! Get him out of there!! The ring attendants and officals finally get Raven to leave with a sadistic grin on his face he and Rhyno leave through the crowd. A.J. is loaded on a stretcher much like Orton earlier and hauled out of the arena. [Fatal 5 Finale]: 5-Man Battle Royal for the vacant Genesis World Heavyweight Championship: Justin Credible won a 5-man Battle Royal: x Kane defeated Halloween after a flying lariat in 0:02:41 x S. Benjamin defeated Raven after a Russian legsweep in 0:12:12 x Kane defeated S. Benjamin after the Choke Slam in 0:13:48 x Credible defeated Kane after a fisherman suplex in 0:14:04 Rating: *** 1/4 (Justin Credible won the Genesis World Heavyweight Championship.) The world title match was all it was dreamt up to be and did not dissapoint in the least. Halloween could not uphold his big upset though from last weeks fatal 4 by 5 being man handled by Kane who took him down easily. It was Raven's elimination however that sparked the most intrigue. Rhyno came out to assist in attack Shelton Benjmain on the outside, but Chris Benoit, obviously having seen enough at this point, came out to stop Rhyno and Raven, that was when Sabu showed up and all hell broke loose, In the comotion though the quick youngster Benjamin took advantage of the situation and got a suprised Raven eliminated with a russian leg sweep. However an angry Raven and Rhyno did not leave as Benoit and Sabu battled to the back kicking and punching the whole way, they distracted Benjamin right into a Kane chokeslam that sent Benjamin out of the match and into a beat down on the outside by the two crazed men. In the end though, the shock would be Justin credible getting the big victory over Kane with a german suplex. Lance Storm Jason and Dawn Marie came out to help Justin celebrate as the crowd booed the impact players. Justin grabbed the mic. Justin Credible: Now you people tell me, that was not just the coolest, that was not just the best... that was JUSTIN... Credible. I told you I'd make an Impact, and now you can all call me the world heavyweight champion. The Impact Players are taking over, Lance will get his shot at the I.C. title and then we will bet he dominating force in Genesis wrestling. Tossing the mic aside the 4 of them pose in the center of the ring with Justin holding the world title over his head. Dick Crusher: Credible gets the win over Kane. Unbelievable. We have our first Genesis World heavyweight champion and a load of questions we need answered over this Raven/Rhyno , Sabu thing. What a wild week its been. Lenny Nabisco: YES A champion I like for a change. This guy is just what we need. Dick Crusher: Yeah I wonder how long before Raven gets to him too? Lenny Nabisco: Hopefully soon!! Dick Crusher: No, don't even start. That's all for this week folks! Goodnight!! Card rating: ** 1/2 Match observations: Revolution 2
