William Huffman and Olivia Blackmon
Seeking information on William Huffman (possibly Immanuel William Huffman or William Immanuel Huffman), born 1793 in Orangeburgh District, South Carolina.  His parents are believed to have been Daniel Hansen Huffman and Rachel Parks. 

William's first wife was Margaret Zimmerman, born before 1804.  William and Margaret were married before 1819 and had six children as follows:
              
                  Russell. born 4 July 1819, S.C.
                  Clarisa, born about 1821
                  Albert, born 1824
                  Marcilla, born 1826
                  Margaret, born 1828

Margaret Zimmerman died  in 1828, most likely in childbirth.

William's second wife, Olivia Blackmon born 12 September 1812.  William and Olivia were married on the 20th of April 1829 in Montgomery County, Alabama.  Olivia was married previously and her maiden name was  either Wingard, Winford, or Winford.  William and Olivia had nine children as follows: 
          
            Erasmus, born 1833, Al.
            Amasetta, born 24 January 1835, Al.
            Vinyard, born about 1835, Al.
            Carilla, born 1839, Al.
            Rosetta L., born 1842, Attala, Ms.
            Yarico Bathsheba, born 1 December 1844, Attala, Ms.
            Wilbert Asgill, born 24 January 1847, Attala, Ms.
            William Austin, born 1849, Attala, Ms.
            Annetta, born 1854, Attala, Ms.

It is believed that the family moved to Attala County, Mississippi about 1843.  Olivia died in April of 1860.  William died 30 December 1861.  They are buried somewhere in Attala County in unmarked graves.
* The Huffman Cabin  was built around 1840.  It came into the Huffman family at a later date in Attala County, Ms.  It is presetly owned and maintained by the French Camp Academy and can be seen at the junction of Hwy 407, 413,  and the Natchez Trace Parkway just outside French Camp, Ms.
