Dina's note: Before I get any more "Uh...Scotty's real last name is TAYLOR!!" e-mail messages, my source of this info is the Memphis Commercial Appeal article that I've also got posted on my site (it was reprinted with permission WORD for WORD and was originally posted many months ago on Brian's official site) as well as www.wwfmirrorimages.com in their Question Time archives, part 12 & 13.  If people don't believe that Scotty's last name is Garland, bitch at those sources, not at me!  I'm tired of that crap already...sorry to be touchy about it, but people can be such jerks...
Scott has been a part of the World Wrestling Federation for nearly a decade. In the early 90's, he was employed by the Federation as one of the guys who was here to make other guys "look good." By 1996, he was competing in light heavyweight matches.  In 1997, the Federation held a tournament to crown its first-ever light-heavyweight champion. In the second round of the tournament, Scott took on Brian Christopher. Christopher pulled out the win, but the duo would go on to feud for many months. Finally, at WrestleMania XIV in 1998, Scotty was paired up with Christopher for a tag team battle royal. The combination was unlikely, but the two had a certain chemistry.

"Too Much" was born.

The two competed sporadically over the next year and a half, racking up an impressive resume, including a win over the Legion of Doom on the Sunday Night HEAT just prior to SummerSlam 1998. But with teams like DX and the Hardy Boyz becoming the rule of the day, Scott "Too Hot" Taylor and Brian "Too Sexy" Christopher decided that Too Much needed some work.
"Too Cool" was born.

They made their debut on a May 1999 episode of Sunday Night HEAT, but soon has to take time off due to a knee injury sustained by Christopher. But several months later, they returned to the Federation as the coolest guys on the block.
Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay are the two coolest, hippest guys on the planet and the two fastest up-and-coming superstars in the World Wrestling Federation. The percolators, the innovators, the mast -- call them what you want, but they are simply Too Cool.
