Q: Are Brian and Jerry really father and son?
A: Most wrestling fans know that they really are father and son - newer ones may not.  Back when Brian entered the WWF, part of his heel gimmick was to deny being Jerry's son, and Jerry denied that Brian was his son as well.  It was a hilarious gimmick!  Brian has another sibling who is also in the wrestling business.  Brother Kevin Lawler (who goes by Kevin Christian), has been a referee and wrestler in the USWA (he wrestled as The Yellowjacket), and a referee and match maker in MCW.  Kevin's current involvement in the wresting business at this point in time is unconfirmed - last I heard, he was running his own promotion in the Mid South.

Q: Are Brian and Scotty married?
A: Yes - both Brian and Scotty are married.  I believe Brian's wife's name is Debra - Scotty's wife's name is Terri.  I believe they both had their weddings in 1998 - no, I do not know the exact dates or places.

Q: Do Brian or Scotty have any kids?
A: I have not heard any solid info of Brian or Scotty having any children.  There was a rumor floating around the net in late spring/summer 2000 that Scotty and his wife were expecting, but she miscarried.  Whether it is true or not, I really don't know nor care to know - I consider that Scotty's personal business.
Update 2/12/02: As some of you may know, Scotty and Terri now have a little girl named Taylor.  Brian's wife was supposed to have given birth in October 2001, but I don't know if that really happened or if they had a boy or girl.

Q: How old are Brian and Scotty?
A: Brian's birth date is January 10, 1972, and Scotty's birth date is July 2, 1973 - you can do the math from there.

Q: Is Scotty's last name really Garland?
A: Yes, Scotty's last name is really Garland.  This has caused some confusion, since the wwf.com site  lists Scotty's last name as Taylor, but the wwf.com site is geared towards the wrestling mark.  In recent newspaper articles and interviews that I've seen, it is reported that Scott's last name is indeed Garland (he has stated it himself), and more and more wrestling sites (such as rajahwwf.com) are updating their "real names" listing to reflect Scott's real last name as being Garland.  Scott has wrestled as "Scott Taylor" for a very long time, so it is easy to see where there is confusion.

Q: Are Brian and Scotty gay?
A: No - for the millionth time, NO!  This question seems to come around from either those that do not like Too Cool, or have seen clips of them as Too Much.  Back when Brian and Scotty were the tag team Too Much, the physical antics their characters were written to do were misconstrued as leaning on the gay side.  Vince Russo, former WWF booker, even wanted to write in a gay marriage for Brian and Scotty in the February 1999 PPV.  Brian (as well as Jerry Lawler) protested the storyline, and it was nixed.  Bottom line - it was a gimmick, a storyline.  In May 1999, the Too Much gimmick died and the Too Cool gimmick began.

Q: How did they come up with their dance routine?
A: Brian actually came up with the original dance routine.  They do have a choreographer that works with them.

Q: How do you do the Worm?
A: Ha!  I don't bend that way, so I wouldn't be the right person to ask!  I bet if you taped it and watched it in slow motion frame by frame, you'd see how it's done.  I've heard that you would want to start first on your knees, then work your way to doing the Worm from a standing position.

Q: Are Too Cool going to split up soon?
A: As of right now (Feb. 11, 2001) I don't see that happening in the short term.  Lately, there hasn't been a strong storyline involving Too Cool, so that's why they've been more on Jakked and Heat rather than Raw or Smackdown.  Keep in mind, the WWF has a packed roster, and it's impossible to showcase each wrestler on Raw or Smackdown.  At least Too Cool is getting some TV time!  I too, would like to see them back on RAW and Smackdown, but unless they are involved in a more active storyline, they will most likely just have an occasional appearance on those prime shows.  I also don't see that happening in the short term, since a new T-shirt was just released on wwfshopzone.com.  A lot of money goes into merchandising, and a lot of money comes out of it as well.  It is poor business sense to release new merchandise for a tag team that would be broken up soon.  However, since it is the WWF, you never really know for sure!
Update 02/12/02: Lol...shows you how much I update THIS page!  Of course, unless you've been under a rock for the past year, Brian was released by the WWF and IICool aren't presently together.  But, who knows what the future will bring?

Q: Do Brian and Scotty travel together?
A: From what I've read, they generally do not travel together.  If they have something going on where they appear together, like an autograph session, then they at times travel together.  However, I read in one interview that they did try travelling together, but that turned out to be a disaster, so they decided  not to do it again.  Hey, just because they work well together doesn't mean they travel well together!!  Brian used to travel a lot with the Rock, as well as with Rikishi.

Q: Are Brian and Scotty really friends?
A: From my observations, I'd have to say that yes, they really are friends.  If they weren't, then they are incredibly great actors since it would be tough to work that well and that long with someone that you aren't cordial with.

Q: Where do they get their ring attire?
A: I asked Brian this via e-mail a while back, and he said that they just buy the urban gear, then have the designs on their attire done for them.  Someone else had asked Brian this via e-mail and Brian said that he shops for his clothes in the SoHo area of New York City. The labels they wear can be found at urban gear stores (such as Mr. Rags) and at some select department stores.  At some urban gear stores, you can have designs on your clothes done for you.

Q: Does Brian really read his e-mail?
A: I know for a fact he does!  I saw him at a house show, and a month before the show, I e-mailed him to say that I'd be there holding a particular sign at ringside.  At the show, he saw my sign and said that he remembered me!  So yes, he does read his e-mail!

Q: Does Brian really read the message board on his official site?
A: Someone on the board said that they e-mailed Brian this question, and he said that he does read it once in a while.  So, if you post on that board, keep in mind that what you post might be read by him!
Update 2/12/02: Well, at the end of May 2001, the message board associated with Brian's site was shut down...

Q: Why hasn't Brian's official site been updated in a long time?
A: The webmaster of that side told me that Brian hasn't provided him with new information, thus the lack of new info.

Q: What happened to the Too Cool official site?
A: The site was first down for redesign.  I e-mailed the webmaster of that site not long ago, and he informed me that he will be meeting with Brian and Scotty sometime soon (sometime in February), to discuss bringing the site up and running again.
Update 2/12/02: If you haven't figured it out by now, it's not going to happen. :)

Q: Where can I find Too Cool Merchandise?
A: You can find items on wwfshopzone.com or attitudetees.com.  You can find the most variety of stuff on eBay.com.
Their action figures have been seen at KB Toys, Toys R Us, Target, and other similar stores.

Q: How does Scotty get his hair to stay up like that?
A: I believe it's a combination of gel and tons of hair spray - it might be just hair spray alone.

Q: Where can I e-mail Too Cool?
A: The only confirmed e-mail address is for Brian, and it is [email protected].  I do not know of a confirmed e-mail address for Scotty.

Q: Where can I mail items to Too Cool?
A: You can mail items to Too Cool at: 6025 Stage Road, Suite 42-238, Memphis, TN, 38134-8377.  This account is under Brian's name, so if you're mailing stuff for Scotty, you might want to make it "in care of" Brian - Scotty's name might be on the account as well, but I'm not sure!

Any other questions?  If so,
e-mail me, and I'll try to answer your question if I can.  If I can't answer the question, then I'll leave a section here for unanswered questions, and if you know the answer, please e-mail me with the answer!  I'm answering based on what I've read and heard.  If I'm wrong, my bad
