Mystery #4 - When the Moon went Red
It was the night of August the 28th when this strange phenomena occured. The moon moved into the Earth's shadow, and for an extended period of time, it turned a fantastic blood red.
It is believed that during this event, strange activities take place. However the department can safely report that nothing out of the ordinary was noted during the night, save for strange howling and missing livestock.
The photo below is the best the department can offer as, due to budgeting constraints, recording devices capable of taking night photos were unavailable.

This photo clearly shows the moon in all it's red glory
