Mystery #1 - The Bottle Lake Bigfoot
It all happened one Sunday afternoon as I was walking through Bottlelake Forest. Playing around with my new digital camera, I switched it to black and white and spent time taking pictures of the flora and fauna.
As it got later in the day I decided to head back to the carpark. Something was different though, there was no bird song and I had the feeling I was being watched. This part of the forest was strangely eriee, no one else was around.
Suddenly something darted out across the earthen path which I was able to capture on film. Unfortunatley it was still in black and white and came out slightly fuzzy. But if you look closely you can distinctly see a humanoid shaped figure.
By the time I got up to where the creature had crossed, there was nothing to be seen apart from a few broken branches. The heavily pine needled ground yielded no clues, not even footprints.
So, what was this strange sighting? No one knows for sure. Perhaps it was an elaborate hoax or even a secret military experiment gone wrong. Whatever it was though, it is still out there...
