Tape Prices/Trading Rules
I gave a month of fair warning before I made any change, so don't whine to me saying "I didn't know," or "that's not fair."
Due to mailing costs, I've had to make slight changes to my rules and prices. Mostly regarding one tape trades/orders. As of now, I AM NOT ACCEPTING SINGLE TAPE TRADES!!! If you wanna trade with me, it's either 2 or more tapes, or zero. No exceptions whatsoever! Single tape orders are now $10, no exceptions. Remember though, orders with two or more tapes will be filled at previous prices. Look below for more details.
I've added this page for a reason. READ THE WHOLE PAGE! With this page, I'm trying to take a very pro-active approach. This approach doesn't work if you don't read it. Read carefully. I'm a nice guy, so I don't like to get tough too often, but unfortunately this page is a necessity. If you follow these rules, we can definately strike some kind of deal to trade tapes
Trading Rules
1. My site=my rules-- Don't try to dictate terms to me. Aside from very extraordinary circumstances, my rules/prices are non-negotiable. When I email other people to initiate a trade, I follow their rules. If you have problems with my other rules below, refer back to this one.
2. You will send first!!!-- There are NO exceptions to this rule. I will not be burned by deadbeat traders. This is standard practice for almost ANY tape trading site, and for good reason. After a few trades with you, I MIGHT send same day.
3. Mailing concerns-- I've decided to be a little more lenient on this rule. I PREFER Priority, but as long as we discuss it beforehand, we can both send Media Mail. Basically, since you're sending first, it will be up to you. However you send the tapes to me, that's how I will send the tapes back to you.
4. Be honest about Video Quality (VQ)-- If you say it's EX, I don't expect to see tracking lines all over the place when I watch it. If you're honest about it BEFORE the trade, it doesn't bother me, cause I know exactly what it is I'm getting. It's when I'm expecting to get VG-EX and get Fair-Good that I'll be upset. I'll be honest with you about tape quality, I just expect the same courtesy.
5. Use only GOOD tapes and don't record over an already used tape!!!-- I ONLY use Sony and TDK, as they are the absolute best. I expect the same in return. If for some reason you don't have either of those in your area, advise me BEFORE YOU SEND what is available for you to use. I will then pick the brand I want my tapes dubbed on. Failure to do this will have simple consequences--you will not receive your tapes in return until such time as the problem is corrected. And I swear to God, if ANYBODY sends me a fucking RCA tape, you will NEVER EVER EVER get your tapes. Again, good tapes might cost extra, but they're worth every single cent. Recording over already used tapes should be obvious, as VQ suffers. Don't do it....I WILL be able to tell, it's not that hard to spot.
6. I can't make compilations for you-- This just takes WAY too of my time. Not only does it hinder me dubbing for other people, but it takes up VCR time when I watch tapes for fun. Only VERY SPECIFIC CASES provide an exception to this rule....for example, my man Travis made two compilation tapes of WWE TV from 2002, so I returned the favor for various PPV matches from the 1990s for him.
Tape Prices
Notice for Canadian Buyers---
I'm gonna get this out of the way, right away. Due to difference in mailing, I MUST ask you to add $3 extra onto your order. Trust me, I am REALLY sorry about this, but that is just for the difference in prices between mailing to U.S. and Canada. I wish I didn't have to, but it's become necessary. Fair warning too, I reserve the right to change this rule in the future at any time I see fit if I'm getting raped on mailing costs too much.
$10 for ANY one tape order-- Postage is just way too much to make it worthwhile for me to send a single tape to you for any less than this. I HIGHLY recommend you get two tapes, because the price is still....
$7 PER TAPE for 6 hour tapes. Remember, you must get at least 2 tapes for this to be in effect!!!!-- Only 2 PPVs/shows per 6 hour tape. In certain cases, I might make exception for early Clashes of the Champions or other 2 hour shows and put three on the same tape for you. Groups of one hour shows (like five Saturday Night's Main Events, one hour each) MIGHT also get an exception.
$8 PER TAPE for 8 hour tapes. Same rules apply as to the 6 hour tapes. You must get at least 2 tapes for this to apply. Only 2 shows per tape, although most 8 hour tapes will probably be used if you get a long compilation tape or a KickWhamStunner Original Compilation.
$10 PER TAPE for 8 hour tapes with 3 PPVs. People tried to circumvent my price list by requesting that I put 3 shows on an eight hour tape, so I came up with this rule several months ago to put a stop to it. Not that it matters....my prices are still helluva good deals, I doubt you could find lower prices on the net. As I said, Im not seeking to make profit....just enough to even out expenses, which is why I charge so low.
Purpose for Selling Tapes
First of all, when you see these prices, keep in mind that my goal IS NOT to make money off of this. In fact, selling is usually my last option. I have no illusions of making my site into a Tape Trading Supersite or anything like that. My goal is to acquire tapes so that I can watch new stuff. However, people inquire about buying stuff from me, so I added this into the site. When it's all said and done, after buying blanks tapes, mailing, all the things that go with trading tapes, I don't make any profit.....I actually lose money. Maybe if I sold more tapes it would be different, but that's just not the case. Trust me, I wish it was.

Concerning requests for INDIVIDUAL MATCHES--
I thought about including a firm rule or price regarding individual matches, but every time I think about it, I can never seem to come up with anything that I absolutely like. So these are the basics. Individual matches are charged and added on at my own discretion. Generally, I'm more than willing to do a couple individual matches on your trade/order. However, any attempts to circumvent this (example- requesting multiple individual matches from the same tape) will be swiftly and harshly rebuked. Any extraordinary circumstances which make you believe that I'm willing to provide you with an exception can be discussed. Be fairly warned, though, that you probably won't succeed in swaying me.
Payment Options????
At this time, I only take Money Orders or Cash! They are the easiest and quickest to deal with. I've never had any problems with sending these through the mail, provided that they are wrapped in something in the envelope. A piece of computer printer paper is usually more than enough. I've also had people send them wrapped in store coupons, pages ripped out of instruction manuals, a kid's elementary school test papers (the kid is pretty smart too).....you name it, I've gotten it. Just whatever you do, wrap it in something so that nobody can see through the envelope, and it should be perfect.
Absolutely, Positively, NO Checks Whatsoever! Besides the fact that I'm not gonna take a chance on them possibly bouncing, they are just a fuckin pain in my ass to deal with. So please don't ask me to take a check from you. Money orders are not that hard to find.
