Super J Cup 94
by Brandon
**This is another review by Brandon, and obviously older, just as the other ones are. A great show needs a great review and I must say Brandon delivered, as this was our most viewed show review when the old site was up when we did local indy reviews**Arguably one of the best shows out there. Absolutely required watching for any "true" fan, the J Cup is a tradition that starts this year. Many new fans will see some familiar faces rubbing elbows with legends of the land of the Rising Sun. This is a phenomenal piece of work and it took me two days just to notate the play by play. Hopefully I can do this show justice.
The J Cup is a periennial one night tournament that takes fourteen wrestlers that are each on the top of the world as it relates to the Junior Weight style. Every year some different prize is put up along with those gigantic trophies the Japanese are always foisting off on somebody. This year is the WWF Lt. Heavyweight belt. Yeah, that's right, the WWF Lt. Heavyweight belt. Ask the Rick about that one.
Normally I'd put the matchlist here but it's rather long.
On to the tape gladiator
We begin with commercials for other tapes by this distributor. The best of the Road Warriors in Japan necessitates a joke but damn if I can think of one. Then we get clips of the New Japan legends highlights...Hogan?
Clips of several wrestlers mumbling. English man do you speak it?
Super J Cup 94 First Round
We get some guy in the ring dressed up like Cap'n Crunch. The Cap'n announces this years participents.
Masayoshi Motegi SPWFThe Cap'n brings out some people to bless the ring or something. Look I don't know Japanese and won't pretend to, but they have commentary and I like to think I know what they're saying so I make it up. Sue me.

Gedou vs. Dean Malenko
Quick question, how is Gedou a lt. weight? The Ref brings them to the middle of the ring and runs down the rules. Dean has this look on his face like, "What you talking about, Willis san?" And they shake hands. Popular theme tonight.
The bell rings and Dean hits a pair of dropkicks that and Gedou bails. Back in and they lockup to a patterson which gives Gedou an armbar. Dean does the flip out and trips Gedou down and slaps on a kneebar. Gedou reverses that into the Japanese Cross Armbreaker Fight Spot. The JCAFS is fairly simple and done in most every match tonight. One guy tries for the cross armbreaker and the other guy clasps his hands while trying to get a knee bar or something. More fighting over armbar and then they hit the Japanese Look of Respect.
Gedou gets a kneebar and Dean starts the JCAFS. Gedou roll over for One. Reversal and Gedou hits the Ref position. Dean flips over to top armlock. Great mat wrestling in summary. Back up and they trade some shots. Dean with a snapmere and elbow. Dean goes to the chinlock and hooks the arms, Gedou fights back but Dean flows into a Dragon Sleeper. Gedou eyerakes out and hits some headbutts. Cross corner whip by Dean. Then Dean hits a Jackhammer!! for 2. Dean hits the figure four headlock. Gedou rolls over and hits the Regal Stretch, this is another repeated spot through the night. Dean gets to the ropes and they trade shots. Finally a whip leads to a double knockout spot.
Dean picks up Gedou in a tombstone but Gedou flips over and gets one of his own. This sets up the swandive but that misses. Dean up and hits a nasty clothesline for 2. Dean acutally pulls out a top rope cross body for 2. Corner whip with ducking and Gedou gets a fluke powerslam for the 3. WTF? **3/4. Decent but subpar compared to the other matches. Plus the ending sucked. Dean is out of the tournament.
Cap'n Peanuts is back and he brings us to our second match.
Super Delfin (Tuna) w/ overly dramatic entrance vs Shinjiro Ohtani (God)
I believe to be impartial but I'm in love with Ohtani and I loathe Tuna. Tuna just rubs me wrong in everyway imaginable. His costume is dumb, his motions are a joke, and his finish is idiotic. What? What does biased mean?
Oh yeah the match.
God wastes no time in taking out Tuna's flipper. He just goes apeshit on Delfin's knee, I mean flipper. God is a dick. During all this opening stuff Ohtani's laughing at him, and so am I. Kick to Tuna's bottle nose and one starts to understand the pyschology: "I am the Lord and you think you're a damn dolphin." That rules. Headlock and a shoulderblock follow.
Delfin hits a dropkick to slow Ohtani down. He follows this up with a tilt a whirl backbreaker. The nefarious Japan Rule, never repeat the spot, takes place as the second try ends up with Ohtani's boot in Tuna's guppy hole. Ohtani hits a spinning heelkick and Tuna bails. Ohtani goes up top but Delfin swims the Hell out of the way. Ohtani opens up the ropes so that Delfin can get in. That rules.
Tuna gets back in and Ohtani remembers that he's neglected that flipper amputation he began earlier and begins it all over again. Choke in the corner is yet another punishment for a stupid gimmick. Kicks to the knee lend itself to a kneebar. Delfin kicks Ohtani and hits a big belly to back for two. Back up and Tuna hits a NASTY delayed brainbuster for 2. God is Dead (Nietchze). Japan rule as the second one is blocked and Ohtani dropkicks Tuna. Tuna bails and Ohtani hits a springboard plancha to the outside. Back in and Ohtani hits a missile dropkick for 2. Ohtani hits a nasty dropkick to the flipper and heads back to the knee. Cross corner whip but Ohtani eats a fin on the follow through. Tuna hits a tornado ddt and the Tuna Net (Delfin Clutch) for the 3. Damn. *** 1/2 because God said so. I really hate Delfin. He just serves no porpoise. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Sorry.
Hey it's the Cap'n tell us how it is brutha.
TAKA w/ silly hat and sword and w/out any noticeable signs of puberty vs. Black Tiger
For those that don't know Black Tiger is Eddy Guerrero. Yeah, he rules even when he's a pussy...cat. TAKA is a mere boy at this point of course this is well before the powers of Greyskull turned him..........EVIL.
Lockups to a patterson. Eddy gets a take down and hits the face twist, slingshot senton, and a powerbomb in quick order. All that gets two. Chops whip and a strong elbow follow, all Eddy. Eddy follows that up with a neckbreaker and slaps on an adominal stretch. Why beat on one body part when you can have them all? Eddy hits a nasty clothesline after he tires of the stretch. Eddy then slaps on the sharpshooter. Do I need to spell squash for you. TAKA might be a boy but he's being beat like a man. TAKA up, whip and a double knockout follows. TAKA back up headlock whip Eddy takedown. Back up and Eddy levels TAKA back down. Whip to the ropes and TAKA goes for a top rope quebrada but Eddy ducks under. More whips and TAKA hits a headscissor which sends Eddy outside.
TAKA hauls ass to the ropes and jumps on the top one but Eddy moves so TAKA flips back into the ring. Take that Sabu. Eddy gets back in and takes control. Cross corner whip into an Eddy clothesline. TAKA hits a belly to belly and Eddy bails. TAKA finally gets to hit his springboard plancha. TAKA tries to suplex Eddy but he flips out and they trade pattersons until Eddy hits a german for 2. TAKA hits a rana for two but the Japan Rule gives Eddy a powerbomb on the second try. Eddy up top and he hits a Love Machine Frog Splash (he doesn't use his arms). Rolling sunset flip for 2 by TAKA. I love Japan finishes. TAKA powerbomb for 2. Moonsault by TAKA gets two. Japan rule feeds TAKA Eddy's knees on the second moonsault. Eddy hits the brainbuster for 2 and then follows up with a tornado ddt for the duke. *** No compliants it was all there.
Cap'n presents
Motegi vs. El Samurai
Motegi dropkicks Samurai to start. And Samurai bails. Motegi starts things off on a high note and hits the suicide dive that early. Motegi runs back in and attempts....something? I don't know but he falls on his ass. Samurai plays smart and goes back in the ring. See in America excluding the better wrestlers, they would wait outside until the move was done right. Lockup and the armbar sequences starts by Motegi. Samurai reverse this into a Regal Stretch. Both back up and they trade some shots. Samurai hits a decent piledriver for 2. Samurai follows up with a belly to back for another 2. El Samurai, really what nation is he from?, reaches deep in the annals of Japanese holds and slaps on a Boston crab. Motegi flips Samurai off of him. Lockup into a headlock by Motegi which he rolls down to the mat and Samurai reverse that into a pin combination and then transitions nicely to a hammerlock. Back up and Samurai plants Motegi with a tombstone for 2.
Both back up and they trade elbows. Whip off the ropes and Samurai hits a very odd reverse suplex. It was cool. Samurai with a dropkick and Motegi bails. Samurai almosts botches a suicide dive but hits it square. Samurai suplexes Motegi back inside and heads up top. He hits a top rope front dropkick for 2. Samurai goes for a rana but Motegi powerbombs him out. Motegi pulls out rolling surfboards which looks cool but probably doesn't do anything. The last one Motegi almosts does the Liger varient sleeper combo, more on that later. Botched headscissor by Motegi for 2. Rolling germans by Motegi but third one is rolled up by Samurai for 2. Pattersons into a german bridge by Samurai for 2. Back up and Samurai hits a nasty Thunderfire Powerbomb for the 3. **1/2 Motegi ruined the match.
Hey Motegi has an interview and I don't know what he's saying but he's probably talking the smiggity smack on Samurai.
Sgt Peppers gives us the Dixie Chicks?
oh wait it's just Candian Lover Ricky Fuji extremely long intro.
Ricky Fuji vs Negro Casas
A bit about the Canadian Lover line. Ricky for reasons unbeknownest to me is wearing a jacket that says Canada on his back. Plus he has that long long hair the women love.
Casas starts the night with some dropkicks. Snapmere to a headlock by Casas. Ricky reverses to a leg lock around Casas head, wrestling terms are escaping me at the moment. Casa reverses that to a Regal Stretch. Ricky makes it to the ropes and the ladies go crazy. Just kidding. Lockup to pattersons Casas rolls down to armbar leg lock. Ricky then gets a headlock which Casa in turns changes to a leglock. This may sound like a lot of stuff but it's not looking all that great. Ricky gets back up and starts to kicking and gets a clothesline for 2. Ricky begins to work on Casas leg for a bit. He slaps on the kneebar and Casas gets a sleeper. Bodyslam to senton for 2 by lucha boy. Whip, dropkick and Ricky bails. Casas hits a top rope plancha to the outside. Back in whip reveresd to backbreaker by the Canadian. Bodyslam and we prepare for The Canadian airforce to fire up the engines. And Ricky hits a DOUBLE AXE HANDLE? I guess the Japanese are better wrestlers, no one hits that move in America outside of Savage. That gets 2. Snap suplex by Ricky for another 2. Japan Rule gives Casas a La Majastral for 2. Snapmere sets up a 2nd rope senton splash for 2 but the Japan rule says you must miss a second you Lucha punk. Ricky hits a Clothesline and follows up with a tigerbomb for the 3. I distinctly hear the announcers say Tiger Driver but I must not have seen the same move. ** 1/2 I don't know I think it's because these guys suck that I didn't like this match.
What's up Cap'n who's next
Hayabusa vs Jushin "Thunder" Liger
I love, I love Hayabusa. He just has this way of wrestling as I could kill you at any moment. If your fans of the old WCW vs NWO World Tour N64 game this guy is Hannibel in the game and he rules it there too. Liger is Liger, you can't talk smack about him. That being said, bring me the match cowboy.
Hayabusa says fuck this respect thing and jumps the bell. He hits Liger in the horns with a picture perfect spin kick that Liger bails on. Hayabusa speeds up, Somersault tope. Hayabusa still has his robe on for Ohtani's sake. That rules. Liger gets back in and walks around and Hayabusa gets a front dropkick to the back of the Horned one. Hayabusa stomps the living legend and hooks the double arm stretch. Body slam and high legdrop for 1. Hayabusa slaps on a reverse half crab and hits a knee to knee drop. Second one misses, surprised?, and Liger hits a dropkick to Hayabusa's knee and slaps on the figure four. To Be the Man-san you have to Beat the Man-san. Back up and Liger hits the Sumo slaps. Then he puts on this weird figure four, cloverleaf deal. While he's doing that he's slapping the taste out of Hayabusa's mouth. Whip clothesline for 2 for Liger. Leg trip to a knee bar by Liger. While laying on the floor Hayabusa hits a enziguiri. That is probably the first time I've seen that. Headlock reversed to a belly to back for Liger. Whip to corner rolling kick to Hayabusa's face. Now I'm confused is that a koppo or a shotei? Liger sets Hayabusa up top and hits a superplex. Liger with some kicks and chops wakes Hayabusa up and he gets some kicks and dropkicks for 2. Hayabusa whips Liger and hits a gorgous leg lariet. Somersault senton for 2.
Hayabusa goes up top and hits a spin kick for 2. Body slam sets up a Hayabusa moonsault for 2. Hayabusa goes up top and tries a very hard move and blows it. It's a springboard rana only Liger is facing the other way. Liger ohtani bless him sells it anyway. Hayabusa hits a ribbreaker and goes up top and hits a shooting star press. Now I'm confused and if what I think happens proves how good Liger is. Hayabusa gets way to much air and when he lands he lands on his face and only his feet hit Liger. Liger pops immediately up and puts Hayabusa in his finisher and lets him kick out a two. Ligerbomb. I think Hayabusa screwed the pooch and Liger fed him his finisher for a time killer. How giving is that? Oh yeah match. Liger puts Hayabusa up top but Hayabusa pushes him off goes for rana but Liger gets a nasty nasty powerbomb reveresal. Fisherman buster, my finisher you horned bastard, for the 3. Liger wins. *** 3/4 A little high for a few blown spots but blown spots only hurt a match if the flow stops because of it but Liger covered up beautifully. Great match.
Hayabusa gets an interview and he says what an honor it is to get his ass kicked by the Horned one. Maybe maybe not.
Highlights of round one. Pegasus and Sasuke get a bye.
End of tape one.
Tape two begins with the same commercials as before.
Another clip fest of the first round.

The Great SasukeGedo vs. Tuna
Hey maybe this will be a ***** classic. Then again you might say that Anna Nicole Smith was in it for the nookie. Even though this has to suck I will again give you the play by play. Pity me.
Tuna starts this mess with an armdrag to an armbar. Back up Tuna hits a leg trip to a half crab to Gedo only he doesn't turn all the way around and puts his other foot on Gedo's face. That's kind of cool. Back up and Gedo does the same spot. Back up and Tuna hits the tunaziguiri. Snapmere to a chinlock by Tuna. Back up and Gedo no sells some flipper chops. Tuna reaches deep in his well versed knowledge of holds and counters and...hits Gedo in the nuts. Tuna then reaches into the proverbial well and puts the fins to Gedo. He sticks his fin into Gedo's neck in the corner. Back up and Tuna gets the Dorsal fin block and a headscissor. Whips again and Gedo hits a dropkick. Up again this time Tuna gets the finkick and Gedo bails. Tuna poses for the crowd in case we forgot he's an idiot.
Gedo comes back in and gets whip to the corner. Tuna starts the corner ten punch but after about ichi he hits the Manhatten drop. Gedo hits a pair of spinal taps and slaps on the double arm stretch to chinlock. While in the chinlock Tuna runs Gedo into the turnbuckle. Snap suplex for 2 by Tuna followed by a neck breaker for 2. They get up and start trading chops. Tuna ends up with a dropfinkick. Gedo bails. Tuna swims to the top and gets a plancha to the outside. Back in whip to the corner but Gedo gets a superkick to the bottle nose for 2. Gedo sets up to slam Tuna but fish are slippery and he jumps up on Gedo's shoulders and gets a Tuna(Victory)roll for 2. Whip to ropes and Gedo hits the Malenko killer powerslam for only 2. You can here the commentators mention that that's what killed Dean. Gedo hits a quebrada from the corner for 2. Back up and Tuna hits a crucifix for 2. Belly to back bridged for 2 by Tuna. Body slam sets up a elbow drop from the top for 2 by Tuna. Cross corner whip and Gedo eats a fin. Tornado ddt Tuna goes for the Tuna net(Delfin Clutch) but Gedo gets a small package for the 3 with the crowd popping. Tuna read between the lines, you suck. ** 3/4 given the people in the match that's pretty high.
Hey Cap'n watch out for the soggies and give us the next match
Black Tiger vs. Wild Pegasus
For those that don't know we are getting Eddy vs Benoit. Oh yeah.
Lockup to pattersons to armbar by Eddy. Benoit flips out and gets a legtrip transitioned to a knee hold and then to an ankle lock. Eddy trips him and we get the grapevine. Eddy then gets a standing knee bar and spins to a leglock. Eddy stomps the knee and hits the face twist. Body slam sets up the springboard senton and a double stomp. Back up and Eddy hits a nasty belly to back for 2. Eddy hits the figure four headlock but Chris gets to the ropes. Eddy kicks him in the ribs. Whip and Eddy trips Chris. Eddy goes for a suplex but Chris floats over and hits a reverse suplex. Whip Chris avoids a headscissor and hits a nasty clothesline. To the apron where Chris tries to suplex Eddy outside. Eddy avoids that and runs to the ropes where Chris hits the farewell and when Eddy runs again gets the kitchen sink. Chris then hits the front suplex on the ropes. Chris follows that punishment with a nice german for 2.
Back up and Chris hits the Wildbomb (c/o rollingermans.com) for 2. Back up and Chris gets the snap suplex for 2. Snapmere to figure four headlock by Chris. Eddy rolls through a kitchen sink attempt and cradles Chris for 2. I love that spot. Whip to the ropes and Eddy hits a rana and a german suplex for 2. Eddy then slaps on a steiner recliner. Back up and Eddy hits a snap fall away slam. Eddy goes up top. Chris wakes up and dodges the incoming missile dropkick. Chris hits the teardrop suplex for 2. He pins Eddy by holding his hands down. Eddy starts to get up and Chris poweres him down for another 2. Back up while still holding a hand Eddy jumps on the top rope and almost falls off but you see every muscle in Benoit flex and Eddy regains his balance for a sweet headscissor. Eddy up top and hits a top rope rana with the roll through for 2. Eddy hits the Brainbuster. He tries for the Tornado but Chris throws him off. Both up on the top rope Benoit goes for the superbomb but Eddy pushes him off and goes for a dropkick but Benoit grabs a nasty armdrag down for the 3. **** maybe a little high but decent match with some great spots.
Hey Cap'n whats Happ'n give me what you got
El Samurai w/ blue mask vs. The Great Sasuke w/ gold mask
Ok, maybe I've shown myself to be a little biased but no one can criticize me for loving Sasuke. He is a legend and the Space Flying Tiger Drop helps.
Sasuke pulls off the gold head to show he has the regular black mask underneath. It's go time. Kicks by Sasuke misss and he warms up the crowd. Lockup to hammerlock by Samurai but its reveresed to leg bar by Sasuke. Sasuke moves to half crab by Samurai makes it to the ropes. Back up armbar to hammerlock by Samurai. Mexican head drag out of the hammerlock by Sasuke. Leg trip to kneebar by Sasuke and then Samurai hits the JCAFS. Sasuke hits a kneebar and Samurai turns it to a pin for 1 by Samurai. Dropkick to knee by Samurai and he starts attacking the knee. Legtrip to standing anklelock by Samurai and he drops down to that weird figure four/cloverleaf thing that Liger did earlier. He hooks the arms while in it and I say ouch.
More knee work by Samurai and Sasuke bails. Sasuke trys to walk off the pain. Back in and Sasuke gets slammed for 1 by Samurai. Samurai hits a stump puller and rolls over on his back. Sasuke with anklelock for reversal but Samurai gets a leg bar and Sasuke goes for one as well and Sasuke bails. Back in and Samurai hits a belly to back for 2. Russian leg sweep into an octopus stretch by Smaurai. The crowd starts chating for Sasuke. Back up and they trade shots. Whip and Sasuke hits a handspring elbow and Samurai bails, and the crowd starts going nuts. Sasuke measures Samurai up......SPACE FLYING TIGER DROP God I love that move. Suplex back inside reversed by Samurai. Off the ropes and Sasuke cracks Samurai with a spinkick for 1. Clothesline and dropkick sends Sasuke outside. Samurai hits a somersault tope on the outside.
Back in whips to pattersons to german for 2 by Samurai. Sasuke is dead. Body slam Samurai up top swandive for 2. Powerbomb attempt reversed to rana for 2 by Sasuke. Body slam Sasuke goes up top but Samurai blocks. Samurai is setting up the rana but Sasuke hits a rolling sunset flip for 2. Back up and Sasuke misses a spin kick. Samurai hits a nasty Thunderfire powerbomb for 2. Rana reversed and rolled through by Sasuke for the 3. ***3/4 good match and the Tiger Drop garners a 1/2 * by itself.
Interview with Sasuke.."Yeah I beat his ass, why do you think the call me the GREAT Sasuke. When they start referring to me as the MEDIOCORE Sasuke, then it might be a acceptable question."
Admiral Peanuts brings us
Ricky Canadian Lover Fuji vs. Liger w/out cape
Gee I wonder who will win? Better prep Au Canada sound guy.
Shake of respect to start. The mask hides it but you know Liger is laughing at Ricky. Pattersons to hammerlock by Liger. Fuji hits a drop toehold and goes to an armbar. They hit the stand of respect. Test of strength. Fuji goes down first. Fuji tries to lift up but Liger pushes back down for a .5 pin. Lockup to headlock and rolldown by Liger. Whip Fuji hits a dropkick. Liger bails and Ricky hits a Bret Hart pescado. Ricky then hits a powerbomb on the concrete. That wasn't as cool as it sounds. Back in whip back elbow by Ricky for 2. Snap suplex and Ricky goes up top. He comes down with a clothesline but Liger stands up and hits of clothesline of his own. That was interesting. Double knockout. Both up and Liger hits the Jericho bulldog. Liger throws Ricky outside. Liger follows and slams Ricky on the floor. Liger goes back in and goes up top and hits a double stomp to the outside. Ouch never seen that one before. Camera shows Ricky when he gets in and he is expressionless. This tips me off and Ricky does not have any noticable facial expressions. Sorry Canuck you lose a 1/2 * for that one. Back in and Liger hits the rolling kick. Liger with a powerbomb for 2. Liger with a german for 2.Whip to corner Liger hits a dropkick. Liger puts Ricky up top....superplex that's reversed allegedly by Ricky to a cross body for 2. Ricky sets up Liger on top and climbs and hits a dropkick. That was kind of cool. Liger falls outside and Ricky hits an ugly baseball slide. Quick note, nasty=good, ugly=bad. Back in and Ricky hits a belly to back for 2. Ricky sets Liger up top and Liger hits Ricky down. Liger with springboard rana for the 3. Liger shakes his hand then ruffs up the heathen's hair. The camera follows Liger out and wait there's a dude with a Wrestlemania X jacket. That's cool being as this is about two weeks after that event. ** 3/4 That's Ricky's fault. Go back to the Tundra boy.
Interview with Ricky, "Thank you for handing me my ass Oh Horned one." What's with the Maury Povich camera tricks. I have expect Ricky to deny that he's been sleeping with Delfin. Double joke-sleep with the fishes, get it, get it? Screw you that was funny.
3rd round
No Cap'n jokes since they are already in the ring
Pegasus vs. Gedo
Lockup to Gedo headlock. Whip to the ropes shoulder block. Benoit gets back up and slaps the taste out of Gedo's mouth. Whip and Chris hits a nasty clothesline. Neckbreaker and a second rope leg drop for 2 for Chris. Chops in corner by Chris. Whip to ropes and Benoit goes for the dropkick, yeah it misses. He misses that more then the swandive. Gedo slaps on his finisher. It's a double arm lock. It sucks I call it the inverted hug. Benoit makes it to the ropes. Gedo hits an ugly piledriver for 2. Gedo hits the chinlock. Gedo shows respect by chopping Chris in the throat. Personally I wouldn't do that to anybody named Chris Benoit. Gedo hits a spinal tap for good measure. Whip and Gedo hits a dropkick. Chris bails and Gedo hits a ugly moonsault to the outside. Back in and Gedo hits that Malenko Killer for 2. Northenlights suplex for 2 by Gedo. Gedo hits a clothesline sets up a Gedo swandive but it misses. Chris tries a belly to back but Gedo rolls over for a crossbody for 2. Pattersons to an ugly Wildbomb for 2. 2nd one sets up a swandive for the 3. *** Decent match but I can tell that they were under time constraints.
Interview with Gedo I don't care enough to write anything.
Cap'n Peanuts gives us
Liger w/cape (Take that Ricky) vs The Great not Mediocre Sasuke w/ red hood.
Sasuke pulls off the extra head and it's go time. Pattersons leading to Sasuke kneebar. Liger goes for Regal stretch but Sasuke throws him off. Hit the stand of respect. Test of strenth Liger trips Sasuke but holds his hands for the pin...only 2. Liger still holding hands rolls over locks Sasuke's legs and surfboards him, weird. Sasuke responds by hitting of a weird move of own. Liger fights up Sasuke armdrags Liger down and hits the JCAFS. Liger reverses that into another weird surfboard. Liger then sets up the traditional surfboard. He sets it in then slaps on a chinlock then bends Sasuke down and gets a dragon sleeper. Oh fuck Sasuke is bent at a 90 degree angle, that is one of the most painful things I've seen. Whip and Liger gets a tilt a whirl back breaker for 2. Liger then slaps on a steiner recliner. Rolling kick by Liger and Sasuke is legit out. The ref begs Liger off while he checks on Sasuke.
Sasuke back up slllloooowwwwwlllllyyyy....and Liger punches him in the head. What a guy. Ref checks on the Great one again. Even more slowly and Liger hits a tombstone. Maybe it wasn't a legit injury or maybe the Horned one is a dick. Then to top it all off Liger hits the chickenwing with locked hands and the leg lock. Liger hits a couple of armbreakers to drive home the point that Sasuke doesn't need his left arm. Hammerlock and float over and Liger wrenches back like a muthafugger. Then Liger hits a crossarmbreaker. Liger with a hand stomp, that moves kicks ass. Armbreaker reversed to headlock reversed to belly to back by Liger. Bodyslam sets and Liger goes up top but Sasuke dropkicks him on the way down. Liger bails and Sasuke hits the quebrada. Suplex back inside is blocked by Liger and then they fight. Sasuke takes it easy on Liger and just rams his head into the post. Liger rolls on the floor and Sasuke hits a picture perfect swanton to a standing Liger outside. Back in and Sasuke catches Liger with many kneedrops. Whip to ropes and Sasuke hits a leg lariet. Piledriver by Sasuke. Thunderfire powerbomb for 2 by Sasuke and Liger does the old man sell (he shakes his legs all around like his having a seizure) Sasuke hits a legdrop and then follows up with a tombstone.
