Super J Cups and Japanese Indies Matchlists

This matchlist page is just for shows that I don't have enough of to give them their matchlist.  Eventually as I acquire more of each fed I'll give them their own page.

NJPW Super J Cup 1994
***note---This is undoubtedly one of the best shows ever, and a must-have if you are a wrestling fan***

Dean Malenko  vs.  Gedo    Round 1 Match
Shinjiro Ohtani  vs.  Super Delfin   Round 1 Match   (Somehow, someway, Delfin gets the win over The Bitchmaster, aka Lord Ohtani....what the hell?)
Black Tiger  (Eddie Guerrero) vs.   Taka Michinoku     Round 1
El Samurai   vs.   Masayoshi Motegi       Round 1
Negro Casas   vs.    Ricky Fuji   Round 1
Jushin Liger vs. Hayabusa       Round 1  ***3/4   (This is Ezaki's first match as Hayabusa and it's a classic!)  (Personally, I think it's a GOOD match, not a classic, but that what opinions are for)

Gedo vs. Super Delfin         Round 2
Wild Pegasus vs. Black Tiger      Round 2  (Benoit and Sasuke got the byes which is why you don't see them in the first round.....and in this match, I'd like to point out why these two guys are two of the greatest wrestlers in the world, and it's not from an incredibly complex series of moves or a great move, but a simple move.....watch as Eddy leaps up to the top rope holding onto Benoit's arm for a move.....Eddy is about to lose his balance, but watch as Chris flexes every single muscle in his body to keep Eddy from falling.....simple stuff like that separates good wrestlers from great wrestlers)
El Samurai  vs.   Great Sasuke      Round 2   **** (good match, and the crowd is SUPER hot for both guys)
Jushin Liger vs. Ricky Fuji        Round 2

Wild Pegasus vs. Gedo     Round 3   (this is some kind of fuckin joke right....frickin Gedo in the same ring with Chris f'n Benoit???)
Jushin Liger vs. Great Sasuke   Round 3    ****3/4     (I've always liked this match better than the final match, even with Sasuke botching the ending, because Liger is right there to cover for him......a great match)

Wild Pegasus   vs. Great Sasuke    Finals    ****3/4   (another great match, and Sasuke's performance after having JUST GONE 20 MINUTES!!!! in the previous match is wondrous to behold)

WAR  Super J Cup 1995
***note--pretty much every match on this show was ***+ or so....definately a must have tape***

Gran Naniwa  vs.  Damien 666    Round 1   (this is a comedy match all the way.  One guy calls out a name of a big name wrestler, then they hit that guy's trademark move.  They poke fun at Chosyu, Misawa, Genichiro Tenryu, Shinzaki, Muta, and a couple more different guys.....Damien finishes up with a huffing and puffing interview after the "grueling" match.  I couldn't stop laughing here)
Shinjiro Ohtani  vs. Masaaki Mochizuki  Round 1  (from comedy to the BITCHMASTER!!!!  This is a worked shoot type match, and Ohtani basically decides that Mochizuki's right leg is really his, and Mochizuki has just been borrowing it his whole life, and Ohtani wants it back)
Ultimo Dragon  vs.  Shoichi Funaki    Round 1
Gedo vs. Masayoshi Motegi   Round 1  (fuckin Gedo....)
Dos Caras vs. El Samurai   Round 1    (you only need to know two things about this match....Dos Caras is an old, but stacked, bastard, and he thinks up the most fucked up submission shit you've ever seen)
Chris Jericho vs. Hanzo Nakajima     Round 1

Jushin Liger vs. Gran Naniwa    Round 2   (Liger and Benoit got the byes this year)
Wild Pegasus (Benoit of course)  vs. Chris Jericho    Round 2 ****
Ultimo Dragon vs. Shinjiro Ohtani     Round 2     ****1/4
Dos Caras vs. Gedo    Round 2    (fuckin Gedo.....)

Jushin Liger   vs.  Ultimo Dragon    Semi-Finals    ****1/2 (very good match)
Wild Pegasus  vs.  Gedo   Semi-Finals   (I still refuse to accept the fact that Gedo was put over Benoit)
Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Psicosis     Non-Tournament Exhibition Match  ****  (This match is summed up by 4 words....Rey hits the rana....the whole match is centered on how many times and ways Rey can hit the rana...he even hits the dragon rana to the outside.....don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining cause it was a very good and entertaining match and the crowd was into it, but they've better elsewhere)

Jushin Liger vs. Gedo    Finals   (yeah, Gedo made it to the finals just because he works for WAR, but is there ANY doubt about who is going over here???)
