He was bound for better things, in a better place. The Knighthood in Solamnia just didn't...suit him. So he searched for something better. Something to do with his life. And he found it in Nereka. There, he was shown the truth. That only Her Dark Majesty was worth venerating.
He was taught the true meaning of honour, and followed it, becoming quite powerful in the priesthood.
Such a man brought recognition to his Knighthood through his deeds, and though many of his fellows stayed behind the enemy lines, commanding like they should, Dirge has made it a duty to be in the thick of such action, gaining info first hand, and fighting foes himself.
Dirge is a tall, fit man. His features are quite plain, and unremarkable. His hair is brown, and cut with no real care for it, as if a bowl was placed over his head. He doesn't seem very old, considering his position, being only 27 summers. He normally dresses in robes of black when around Storm's Keep, or other KoT strongholds, though it is not uncommon for him to wear his Platemail Armour. Silver and black, with the symbols of all three Orders etched into the chest plate, the Skull being centralized and enlarged. And though he is not as handsome as some, it is known that -when- he smiles, which is rare, he is blessed with the Less Clan Smile-of-Charm, which attracts and allures others.
Never to leave his person though, at any time, of all his possessions, is his Religious Medallion, and his Heavy Mace, made of Blackwood, and polished til it gleams, with a band of silvered steel around the head.
He takes great pride in his service to his Goddess, and has no interest in relationships at the moment, as Her Dark Majesty and the Knighthood is all he needs.
