I don't think my drabble really worked as in being about what it was supposed to be about.  But I don't care! I happen to like it as it is AND I want to do more following this particular idea.  Don't know how far it'll go, but, I like doing these little drabbles because I can do little snippets that just show cute little scenes or just give a brief hidden insight into a character.
(maybe one of these days I'll do someone other that Vegeta- hehe)

Anyway, here's the latest one:

Part 1 - The Gift

"Are you afraid of me?" he breathed in her ear, his voice a deep murmur.
She shivered, caught between him and the wall.
"No." a slow smile spread across his face exposing canines that looked
frighteningly sharp.
"Your lying to me.  It's a gift I have,  you see, I can tell when someone's lying.
Tell me the truth now.  Are you afraid of me?" She frowned, anger igniting.  Why
was he doing this to her?
"Go to hell.  You obviously know the answer, why do you have to intimidate
me? To make yourself feel better?"  His smile faded to a thoughtful frown.
"No, I only want the truth.  Have I ever lied to you?"
"I wouldn't know.  Like I could tell if you were being honest." His frown
deepened.
"I have never lied to you.  There is no reason.  You however, disrespect me by
lying to my face.  If you were honest in the first place I would have no need to
"intimidate you" as you put it."
"Fine, you scare me alright? Does that please your highness?" she snarled.
His frown eased and his expression was calm.
"No.  It doesn't.  What have I done to you to make you fear me? Have I hurt
you, ever?" he said, his expression one of genuine confusion.  Bulma swallowed
painfully, her throat suddenly dry.  She suddenly couldn't meet his gaze as guilt
strangely flooded her.  He almost sounded hurt.  But then again, that was a human
emotion, which he protested vehemently that he was incapable of feeling.
       "No, Vegeta.  You haven't."

Oops! That was 259 words!  But .. oh well!
