| One morning Kiara looked out her window. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and flowers blooming. Then Kiara heard her mother Nala calling her for breakfast. When Kiara was downstairs the kitchen smelled of pancakes, bacon and coffee. When Nala was pouring Kiara's milk for her cereal, she said, "Mom can I pick some blueberries for my cereal?" Nala smiled. "Yes." She said. Soon Kiara's basket was full of berries. She ate breakfast. Kiara was at the waterhole wating for Kovu. She was surprised to see another boy cub, grooming his paw. "Hello!" The cub said. "I'm Kawnu." "My names Kiara." Kiara replied. "I'm just waiting for-" "Hey Kiara!" A voice said. Kiara turned around. Kovu was running up to her, out of breath. "Sorry I'm late I had chores-" He looked at Kawnu. "I'm Kawnu." The cubs introduced themselves back. The cubs played together everyday. They were friends. THE END |
