    The Coins
    The coins and their values at The Camp of Kassars are the same as all over Gor. Most Goreans who've read the Scrolls know how the coinage works. There were other coins, like gold tarsks and silver tarns, but they vanished in later Volumes.

    According to the Scrolls a tarsk bit varies in value, where one copper tarsk can equal 4, 8, 10, or 20 tarsk bits. For ease of use and calculation, and to contribute to some standard and commonality, 10 tarsk bits will equal one copper tarsk. The following, then, will be the coinage used for all business transactions at Kassar Camp:

    copper tarsk bit (lowest denomination)
    10 copper tarsk bits = 1 copper tarsk
    100 copper tarsks = 1 silver tarsk
    10 silver tarsks = 1 gold tarn
    2 gold tarns = 1 double weight gold tarn
