I also have two cats. Huka (named after a Maori name NOT the pipe) is a Turkish Angora. He is a proud member of BC Pets and Friends, and is currently retired from visiting at retirement homes.
Gia is a calico whom I rescued from the pound. She had been a victim of abuse in the worst sense, and still carries the emotional scars. I tried to get her to sit with Frances and Huka for a picture, but she would have none of it.
Frances gets along well with them, although she does try to push her luck with Huka. It's quite amusing because she will tease and tease him. When he's finally had it with her, he'll lift his paw to give her a swat. Then the drama starts..... Without him ever touching her, she'll let out a cry that sounds like he's just pulled her tail feathers out, followed by a desperate run back to her mommy, along with a pathetic attempt at cuddles.
Mommy isn't blind and she's certainly not fooled!!!! |
