| Basic Ki Ball: | ||||||
| Start off by standing in your ki breathing stance, then put your arms out in front of you. Cup your hans and have them about five inches apart, in front of your stomach. Start doing your ki breathing, but this time, instead of imagining your Tan-tien growing when you breath out, have the energy go from your Tan-tien through your chest, through your arms and into your hands and outwards, forming a ball. Don't be discouraged if you can't see it. It takes a long time to be able to see ki with the naked eye. I still haven't been able to create a solid ball of ki that is visible. The way you can tell is by the warmth. If there is a great warmth between your hands, it's almost a sure sign to know you've done it right. |
