Step 2

The most important thing you need to know is that every block should be an offensive strike. This concept may be hard to grasp at first. Here is an example, If some one where to throw a punch at you, then you would use a palm strike to his arm, not only diverting the attack but injuring the attacker, allowing you to continue the attack.

Iron Palm Slap Block

The first block is a open palm strike used against kicks or punches, to perform it you must condition your hand by using the iron palm training. If someone where to throw a punch at you, you would make a stop signal using your left hand then rotate it so that it faces the right and slam it into the opponents arm, you can strike the elbow for maximum damage, or the wrist for less damage.

Iron Palm Drop Slap

This next block is used against a front kick. Just raise the hand and slam down with the palm onto the shin of the attacker. If performed correctly he will not want to fight anymore, for a very long time. If it is a round house kick or side kick use block no.1 to the shin.

Iron Palm Slap Grab

This block is for pure style points only, it takes expert timeing and speed, and a TIGHT grip. When the opponet throws a punch hit his fist with an iron palm strike to his knuckles and then grasp his hand in yours and bend his hand backward, then step forward toward him and hit him with your elbow to the chest.
