I live in Moline. I am married to a great guy, Bruce, a Family Practitioner
employed with John Deere Health. We have three children - Breanne 18
finishing her first year of college at Southern Illinois University at
Edwardsville, Jill 17, a junior at Moline High School and Erik 15, a freshman at
MHS. They are all excellant students and outstanding athletes. I
have truly been blessed.
I am a Certified Medical Assistant that has retired since Bruce took his administrative position with John Deere 3 years ago. I now focus on developing my etiquette consulting business which I have done part time for the past ten years. (Yes, I have become the Marjabelle Stewart of the Quad Cities. Well not quite her league but I'll get there.) I love what I do. I also volunteer as president of a non-profit children's organization, Quad City Kids And Company, as an ambassador and chairman for Moline's Academic Achievement Program for the Illinois Quad City Chamber of Commerce, serve as a board member and allocation chair for the Moline Public School Foundation, and sit on the board for Commonwealth Business College's Medical Assisting Program.
I love to attend my children's athletic events, plays and choral productions. When time allows I love to work in the yard tending to my gardens. I also work as seasonal help as a floral designer for a local flower shop, it's great fun!
Life has been good to me these past twenty five years and the only regrets I have had is that I haven't kept in contact with my KHS friends as I would have liked.
Take care and hello to all.
