| Following high school, Pat received a B.A. from Mount Saint Mary's College. He then served in the Army with the 10th Mountain Division as an Infantry Officer. In 1992, he left the Army to campaign for the Office of Sheriff of Mineral County, a position which he held for eight years. Pat then accepted the position of City Manager of Taneytown, Maryland. In 2003, he was activated with the WV Army National Guard for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon returning from his tour in Kuwait, Pat accepted employment with the Comptroller Division of the National Weather Service. In 2006, Pat was appointed Acting Comptroller until he was again activated with the National Guard for a tour in Iraq. He is currently serving as the Chief of Future Operations and plans of the 111 Engineer Brigade. Pat's wife Susie works part-time as the admissions coordinator for Mount Saint Mary's Seminary. They live in Taneytown with their five children: Paul Vincenter (14); Mercedes Lynn (12); Matthew Joseph (11); Dominic Anthony (8); and Christopher Thomas (3). updated 2007 |
