Hello all. My name is Khrystal Leight and I have been a female impersonator for 12 years based in the city of St. Louis. I have won over 18 titles and am the current reigning Miss Missouri USofA at Large 2005. I am a Bette Midler impersonator and am affectionately known as the Bette of the Midwest.
Through my travels, I have been very fortunate to meet a lot of people who were fans and quickly became friends. It is a wonderful experience to have good friends in all the major cities and female impersonation affords me the opportunity to not only entertain, but to also travel and keep in touch with those who have given me inspiration and motivation to continue in this ever-changing artform. I am blessed to know as many wonderful people as I do and to use my celebrity as a way to raise money through benefit shows to help causes near and dear to my heart.

I recently returned from Dallas, Texas, where I competed in Miss USofA at Large as the reigning Miss Missouri USofA at Large 2005. Kitty Litter from St. Louis won this national pageant and is one of my good friends. She truly will make an excellent representative. It was a great experience to compete on a national level again. I had previously taken four years off to focus on my personal life. I last competed in Miss Continental Plus 2000 as Miss Missouri Continental Plus 2000. Tumara Mahorning from St. Louis won this pageant this year and is also one of my good friends. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I wonder if a trend is starting...... Makes a girl wonder. LOL. It is great to see St. Louis make its mark on the map of female impersonation. We are a truly talented and beautiful and professional city.
Pictured above with me is Sable Sinclair, on the left. She is the show director at The Complex in St. Louis and is one of my best friends. She knows everything about me and still had the nerve to pose with me at the Mayor of St. Louis's Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball in the Rotunda of City Hall. What a night......
I have worked at The Complex for 10 years, since winning Miss Mid-America Entertainer of the Year 1995. I am blessed to be part of the best cast in St. Louis and to be part of the Missouri Continental Family with matrons (hehe) Howard Meyer and Joe Bradley overseeing the ever-growing family of winners.

I am the drag daughter of Tara Leigh of St. Louis, formerly of Coulterville, Ill., and the granddaughter of Christina Taylor of Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Alton, Ill. I am the drag sister of Tajah Mahal, Miss St. Louis Gay Pride, and Erica Leigh Foster, Miss Missouri Continental.
In turn, I have birthed my fair share of children, all of which I am very proud of. The following are my children:
