Ethereal entity of one of the 5 elements.Each elemental
is of the nature of its element,The elemental of the 5th element is
usually known as a sprite/spirit and is of light.. They were
defined by Paracelsus in the 16th century as gnomes ,sylphs, undines
and salamanders .These elementals are born when the element is
permeated with enough ethereal (living) energy. Usually this
happens naturally but thru the devotion and reverence for the land,
sea ,sky and chthonic areas by a large number of people, the
elements are permeated with a greater amount of ethereal energy
which will result in elementals having more humanoid form/shape
and a greater connection to a specific area. When the thought-forms
of the devotees are merged with an element as well, the elemental
will assume a form similar to how the devotees believe it will
look . An elemental that is born naturally from nature without
human ethereal energy is usually more basic in likeness and more
like sentient/partially sentient matter.
Elementals, Artificial:
Term used by some Western occultists to refer
to spiritual/ethereal entities "created" by magicians, usually to
perform specific tasks.These are created within a controlled
environment and shaped/crafted according to the desires of the
magician.The artificial elemental is similar to an egregore ,but
is given limited substance and ethereal energy.

perisprit, the kama-rupa after death before its disintegration. The
apparition which can appear under certain conditions to survivors of
the deceased.

is derived from a Greek word meaning "to be aware of" or "to
watch over". An egregore is commonly understood to be
magical/mystical entity purposefully created by a group or order as
an encapsulation of the group's collective aspirations and ideals.
One such example is the entity GOTOS, created by the adepts of the
Fraternitas Saturni.

called the Watchers/Guardians/Keepers. Many have summarized that
guardians are a archetypal egregore believed in by many religions
and cultures.

is a mental construction,a thought form that is
manifested outside of our bodies. Sometimes seen as a ghostly
visitor to a family or friend at the time of the persons death.This
is said to be due to the dieing person last thought before death.
