| The oldest of three, Khris Gibston was born in 1972 outside of Orlando to parents Bernard and Mae. Khris grew up in a tough neighborhood, but nonetheless as a youth he was both a good kid and a successful young entrepreneur that also excelled in both academics and athletics, especially football. However, bad luck and a misdiagnosed injury during his first year of college ended his college football career before it began. Khris attended the University of Florida where he was a successful premed student majoring in mathematics while also being very active in special events planning and media relations with multiple organizations. However, Khris' entrepreneurial pursuits led him to end his medical aspirations during his senior year at the University of Florida and to graduate with a degree in mathematics and refocused goals. This was the official start of the path that eventually led Khris to acting. Khris is an entrepreneur that has in the past had, and still has, multiple business operations. However, one of his first businesses after college was Gibston Productions, a concert promotions company, where Khris worked with multiple artists and celebrities, including Bad Boy Entertainment artists. After operating Gibston Productions for a couple years Khris decided to exit the business and shortly thereafter, in 2001, he made the transition into another aspect of entertainment--acting, a field that people had ironically always suggested he pursue. Khris has once again found success becoming a highly capable and skilled actor that has portrayed a diverse array of characters and types. Additionally, Khris is also becoming known as an adept screenwriter. He has worked with up-and-coming stars as well as A-list and award-winning actors and actresses, directors, and producers. Khris has been credited for commercials, television projects, and numerous film projects; and he has many more projects in development. |
