I am currently a college student. I graduated from Rockport-Fulton High School at the rank of 17th(because I wanted to stay far away from giving speeches at the ceremony...I was originally ranked 5th). I then attended the University of Texas at Austin for the summer, spending my first fall semester at Rice, and then ended up switching to Texas A&M University at College Station. Over there I had many fun times, and hardships, and those hardships drove me back to Rockport to start over. I am a borderline INFJ, balanced between extroversion and introversion: extroverted personality wise towards others, but introverted thinking wise when it is dealing with me. I am a relatively easy person to get alone with, but a hard person to get to know in depth. Sometimes I even confuse myself. But to me I enjoy and appreciated the simple things in life. It doesn't take much to impress me, and I'm easily amused by the simplest of things. I like to have fun most of the time(as my credit card statements will tell you) and act silly and goofy. Most of the time I am a rather relaxed person taking things calmly, but there are times when I can be stressed. I rarely ever get mad because usually there is no really no reason to get mad, but I can be annoyed rather easily. To most people, it seems as if I am a person who hardly shows any feelings, and that I'm cold and distant, but that isn't really the case. If I come across like that it is usually because I'm confused about my feelings, but when I'm certain, my feelings show. In life I value Trust, Honesty, Prudence, Temperance, Fortitude, Truth, and Love. I hate those who take advantage of other people, especially if they can't help themselves, people who do nothing but cut down other people for no reason other than pleasure, people who always love to criticize but they themselves never offer any useful criticism. I don't like listening nothing but excuses, I always prefer the truth. My feelings, empathy, and sympathy rule my judgement when I'm dealing about things towards other people, but when I'm dealing with things that affect me the most, I use my logic, past experiences, and brain. The same holds true with arguments, arguements with feelings work better when it deals with other people and logic when it towards me. I can be somewhat demanding and annoying at times. I do things with pride in it, and sometimes my pride and arrogance shows. Sometimes I seem humble, but I do have a lot of pride. I am a lover first, and a fighter when I need to be and all other options exhausted. Sometimes I do things without knowing why I do it, or end up saying things without knowing why. 'Caught up in the moment' would be a good way of saying it, and I do that a lot. I believe that everyone has a purpose, some people just have difficulty finding it. I think that society is run on by nothing but pure fear, the fear of not fitting in, not being good enough, not looking good enough, fear of this might happen or that might happen. I believe that the harshest critics of us is ourselves, no one really thinks that badly of ourselves as we do. I believe that love is not about what you want, but about finding happiness for the one you love. And I believe that the hardest thing for a person to do is admit that they acted foolishly and selfishly. I believe that we demand the truth from people, but we rarely give it ourselves. That we always go to lengths to hide it, or try to play around it. I strongly believe that everyone should be allowed to make their own choices in life, not having someone else dictate their life for them, or forcing them to make decisions against their will. And I strongly believe that life should just be "lived", not "lived for" and that life is something that must be understood from moment to moment.
