4.  Adam Roehm, born February 09, 1800 in Hesse Homberg, Bremen, Germany; died Bet. October 1859 - 1880 in Pennsylvania.  He married 5. Sophie Klovis Aft. 1850.
5.  Sophie Klovis

Notes for Adam Roehm:
My Roehm's (Von Rhm in Hesse Homberg, Bremen Germany) arrived in the port at Baltimore, Maryland the 1st of May 1831, then removed to Philadelphia, PA in 1837.  On Oct 10, 1837 Adam declared his intent to change his Country of allegiance from Germany to the United States of America in the Court of Common Pleas. On Sep 19, 1840 Adam Roehm made his Oath of Allegiance at Court of Common Pleas to the US.  He was a piano maker.  His sons by his first wife Elizabeth were Adam b:~1832 in Westphalia, Germany, Charles b:Feb. 1836 in Maryland, Joseph b:~1839 Philadelphia, and Gilbert b: 1844 Phila. Adam lost his wife Elizabeth and remarried between June 1850 and 1854.  His second wife's first name was Sophie Klovis or possibly Catharine.  Children of Adam's second marriage were William b: Oct. 1855, Jacob b: Sept. 1857 and possibly John. There was also a daughter Elizabeth born about 1856.   Some of the brothers started a tailor shop called Roehm Brother's Trinkets and Trim and his grandson Charles (Jacob's son by his 1st marriage) stared a box factory.  By the 1880s most of the family moved to Camden, NJ, but still owned the tailor shop in Philadelphia. By 1900 it looks like the some of the brothers retired and a younger generation of the family was operating the tailor shop and most of the family was living either in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, or around Norris Town, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
