"The Med" as we called it in High School, is very much the same as it was then, with the exception of being located a few blocks west of its original location. The menu has changed little, the pizza, the blue cheese burger, the Vaguely Reminiscent are all there. This is a wonderful thing.
The Medici specializes in comfort food, hearty burgers on black bread and really gooey, crispy potato skins that clog your arteries as you smell the bacon. Service is somewhat casual as always, but more from a standpoint of leaving you alone to linger over hot chocolate or tea than to truly ignore you.
The real challenge is to decide if you can leave enough room for desert. Or maybe you should go ahead and have an appetizer instead. Pigging out and doing it all, well, we're not teenagers anymore, but I won't tell your cardiologist.
