Welcome Parents/Guardians to the 2003-2004 school year!

Out Home and School Officers would like to welcome all families to our Home and School Association. We have a dedicated group of parents who volunteer diligently in many ways to benefit our school. Our Home and School has been in existence since 1963 where 800 parents attended the first meeting in November of that year. The parent's commitment to the quality of education at Central has never wavered. The response of the parents was and is immediate and sincere. Our Association will maintain the traditions and standards of Central High School and the advancement of scholastic, creative, and athletic excellence.

The Home and School at Central is an integral part of what makes our school work. Central has been rated as on of the best schools in the country. This is directly related to the amount of time and energy our Association gives to the school, not to mention the amount of money raised to supplement what the school operation budget does not. The Home and School has funded programs and equipment for the school, intramural sports, and teacher grants. Our efforts are supported through membership dues, bakes sales, commemorative tiles, graduation tapes, the sale of school pride items for parents, and also by donations of time and money.
