Do I detect a hint of minty freshness?

These actually have nothing to do with the Vampire clans at all, and are in fact hideously dangerous, a variant of blood sucking daemon loyal to Maydon, but they have taken to appearing after Vampires have passed through an area so justify their inclusion in this chapter.

They have few of Vampires weaknesses but all of their strength's and can only be killed by the use of a holy relic by one who is 'pure and true' otherwise all the reliquary will do is drive them off, they are partial to young women, virgins or not, and enjoy ripping them apart with their bare claws. In short, they are extremely dangerous and not to be challenged lightly.

They can have any appearance, but their mistress prefers them to appear in their natural form, that of a winged horror with a scaly hide.
