The Founder

In Erythian legend, the Founder is the one who created Erythia and the Elder Gods before departing somewhere beyond the heavens.  It is often claimed that He will return to Erythia someday, and that the Gods are but stewards to the realm that is His Kingdom.  There are of course some who believe that the Founder Himself died after the creation of Erythia, and thus the Elder Gods came to power to fill the vacuum left by His passing.  Either way, very little is truly known about the Founder, but belief in Him is very strong throughout Erythia.  He is seen to be infallible, in direct contrast with the two subsequent generations of Gods, and many wonder if Erythia would be greatly improved by the perfect wisdom of the Founder should he return.
