The Creation

In the Beginning, was the Father of the Gods, He that mortal men call the Founder.

The Founder looked out onto the void, and created a small ball of fire by which to see, but the fire was not large enough for Him to see as far as he wished.

Thus the Founder created a larger ball of fire, and the void was lit in all dimensions for him to see.

But with the larger fire illuminating the heavens, by the second day the Founder had tired of the small ball of fire, and clad it in earth to shield it's light, and set it to spin around the burning orb of flame.

The earth intrigued the Founder, and on the third day he created waters to surround parts of the earth, and on the fourth he brought air into being to weigh the waters down upon the earth, so that they might not abandon their new home.

On the fifth day, the Founder created life, fashioning flora and fauna to swim in the oceans and to soar through the skies, to run on the surface and to burrow in the depths.  The Founder saw what He had done, and smiled.

He sat back and rested on the Sixth Day, regaining His strength so that the following week He could combine with the Earth that mortal beings call Erythia to create the Gods that are called His Elemental Children and The Blind Twins, to watch over and protect Erythia for Him.

After His Children were born, He allotted to each a duty to care for a certain part of what he had created, one each for the Earth, Air, Fire and Water, and departed from the ball of fire mortals know as the Sun, and the ball of earth mortals call Erythia, to discover what lay beyond the light of the Sun.  It is not known what the Founder encountered, but He has never returned, and His legacy remains for all to see and believe.
