Contest Changes for 2005: Sandy Naumann, club decided to award wethers at
time of shows for 2005 instead of only 2 wethers at end of year, so
wethers would get price money for each show.

Fall Show in Marlin, TX on hold until more information.
- Continued
Education Summer Training for Members, voted to start yearly/biyearly.
Starts June at Summer Meeting will have Fecal Clinic Free to members and
$15.00 to all other person wanting to attend.
- 2005 Backyard
Show will be held in Keithville, LA. We will not have show at LA
Fairgrounds.
- Heifer
Project Sponsorship approved. Club will give $120.00 for goat to help a
family receive a goat for milk and breeding.
- Health
Certificate will be for all animals at the show, including all goats that
are not being showed and are only for sale. Club will investigate to see
what Federal/State laws require. Will be reported on by Joy Rogerson at
the Summer Meeting in June 2005.
- Allowing KAH
to refuse late entries for shows was NOT approved. Members
voted to allow late entries to better serve their members.
- Advertising
shows locally is left up to the Show Chair and has been done in past.
Members voted to continue allowing Show Chair to promote shows by
advertising.

- Club Insurance
renewal date extended, Members approved.
- Special Club
Helping Judge Candidates; Voted to investigate a way for the KAH Club to
assist up-coming judge candidates with expenses like airfares , etc.
Stetts Stettler will investigate ways that would be politically correct
to assist in expenses. Members voted on the need for a selection
committee and applications needed to select members that would qualify.
More information is needed before a solid plan is established for helping
judge candidates.
