Religion
Heronious:  Self proclaimed as protectors against evil, worshippers of Heronious abound in Kurant as the most popular religion.  It's Hierarchy is organized in a military fashion. In a society where the military is rudimentary at best.  A large portion of the army, the majority of officials, and guardians of Kurant are worshippers of Heronious.
Nedra: Neutral Good god of Protection, Nature, and Healing.  The order of Nedra is ruled by a Chancellor.  Followers are usually farmers, peasants, and the chosen few clerics that spread goodwill, healing, faith, and protection to the commoner.
St. Cuthbert:  This church has become extreme in it's doctrine.  Although nobles are not welcome, the sense of justice that the churche portrays has become scewed by its problems with it's followers turning to Nedra.  Although this church shares police powers along withWee Jas, their policies have become questionable and the church of Wee Jas has begun investigations into their sense of , and use of their powers.
Wee Jas:  This church primarily presides over funerals, maintains graveyards, and libraries.  However, in recent years they have become the watchers over the use of magic, especially necromantic magic.  They also have gained police powers, along with St. Cuthbert, and although they at one time worked together, the relations have been strained, since St. Cuthbert's policing duties have been slack since they have become more concerned over their followers leaving their church.
Ruled by the Archcannon and with an intricate hierarchy this church is poised to become very
popular
Oldammara:  Oldimarra's worshippers are many speciifically her reign over the realm of luck.  Which is basically all that has held the Republic together.
