Lightnings vs Vipers (3-5)

First Period
Vipers needed to get atleast 1point in this game to secure a place in the final if they
didn't Tigers could if they would beat Barracudas take that spot !!
For Lightning this game was a chance to put an end to their loosing streak and
to help Tigers to get to the Final.

The game started of very even, both teams had chances but none could convert.
Vipers looked a bit tensed and Lightning looked alert and ready to score.
At 4:50 Vipers got a penelty, Danny Chin got 3 minutes for holding.
Now it looked like Lightning should take the command and score but instead
Vipers got the first goal, the second line stepped forward and scored through
Reezman, his first in the league !!
0-1 after 7:03, assist from Shamsul.
Face of imediately after the goal Lightning still one more player,
Rolf wins the puck and skated into Vipers zone and scored !!
1-1 after 7:50, unassisted.
Now Vipers were back to full strength and the game was once again going back and forth
till Vipers did a smart shift,
Johnny came in on a flying shift got the puck from Khairil in Lightnings zone and
could score on Felix left side, 1-2 after 15:49.
At 10:45 it was Lightnings turn to face a penelty.Steven Tan got 3minutes for holding.
Vipers could not convert this penelty though.
Before the period was over Vipers got one very important goal anyway.
Johnny found Kazu in Lightnings zone and Kazu did no misstake, 1-3 after 19:49.

Second Period
The second period started like the first period ended.
Vipers could score after 2:46, Johnny again assist from Steven W, 1-4.
Now it looked like Lightnings lost most of their energy and it looked
like they once again had to face a defeat.
Things didn't get better for them when Vipers scored again,
Steven W. succeeded to lift the puck over a kneling Felix and we had 1-5
after 12:57, assist from Kazu.
In the end of the period it looked like Lightning some how got some new energy,
maybe Vipers felt confident to win.
With only 4:37 remaining of the game Rolf scored again, 2-5 unassisted.
In the last minute Rolf shot a slapshot from the left in Vipers zone which
Robbie couldn't hold and Steven Tan could score on the rebounce, 3-5 after 11:22.
In the last second Vipers got a penelty, Steven W got 3 min for tripping but
there was no more time left for Lightnings to get any advantage.

This win for Vipers means they're now in the Final where they will meet
Barracudas.

Lightnings will meet Tigers for the 3rd spot !!
