My Lady Bugs Project
These photos are my last project from school, the 3-D Lady Bugs!
My Research :
A General Statement The Lady Beetle belongs to the Beetle family Cocicinellidea that actually means "Little Sphere". In this world there are about 4,000 species has been found. Habitat Lady Beetle lives in a huge variety of habitat. Trees, shrugs, field and also houses are good places for them to live and for you to look at. Many lady beetle move and sometimes spend the whole winter in a very protected hiding places such as logs and the like many other cluster. Appearance A lady beetle is like any other insect they have two antennas and their skeleton is on top of their body witch we call Exoskeloton. They have a tummy too witch we call abdomen, their body is called thorax like when your doctor take a picture of your lung they call it thorax photo. Behavior Ground up female lady bug produce 10-50 egg each day under a leave. Other interesting facts (the ways to protect) Lady beetle has heaps interesting things like their red or orange and black coloration warn birds that they aren't very tasty meal. Birds learn red/orange &black insect usually stink or disgusting and since they live such insect away. They also "play dead" when in danger. Many predators not eat insect that doesn't move.
