How many faces of love is there
We have love of a family
The love of a child for their parents
the love of a parent for their child
the love shared between siblings
and of course the love between Mom and Dad
which we hope is everlasting
As we grow up, we come across many kinds of love
We have a love that is shared between good friends
that comes from years of knowing and sharing secrets
In school we have what we call puppylove
thinking that is real love
but we go through many phases of this
our first crush, our first boyfriend or girlfriend
thinking they might be the one
we will share our lives together
hoping it will last
Everyone changes through the years
searching for that special someone
that they can say "I love you
and want you with me forever"
But the greatest love in life
Is the love you have for yourself
For if you do not love yourself
How can you find someone to love
Love is a precious gift to give and receive
and should be cherished always
