Moth Syndrome - n. Condition in which the afflicted feels as if he or she is guided towards a light; as in death, where the soul lives on and the body is instructed to "walk towards the light" into the afterlife of the Kingdom of Heaven or the red flames of Hell; as a moth is drawn to a lantern or porch light at nighttime, patients inflicted with Moth Syndrome, also commonly known as Moth Paranoia or Moth Affliction, are drawn to that which is most attractive to their eyes; in saying this, it is quite possible to label most humans as patients of Moth Syndrome, for sexual attraction as well as emotional compatibility insures it; Moth Syndrome relies greatly on a state of mind where all else is abandoned in favor of the "light" and alienation is most often, but not limited to, present in the individual; patients inflicted with Moth Syndrome are commonly the social outcasts and freaks of society, some by choice and some by "force" (those who refuse to sacrifice their beliefs and values are socially killed because they are different and "strange"); patients inflicted with Moth Syndrome usually have bouts with depression and are often inclined to have obsessions, most often with the "light" or sometimes just a distraction or diversion; many patients never find comfort in large groups and usually seek relationships with other patients , eventhough they may also cause conflict; patients are most likely to be very sensitive, highly creative and imaginative, often prophetic or poetic, and are mostly drawn to the arts (artist, musician, writer) as a profession. |
