Here is the description of the day of judgement and the life after death in the Hereafter in the Quran:
Verily herein is a sign to him who fear the torment of the Hereafter. That is a day on which mankind shall be gathered together, and that is a day to be witnessed (by one and all). And we defer it not but to a term determined (and not very remote). The day it comes, no soul shall speak save by His (Allah's) leave; then some shall be wretched and some blest. (Holy Quran 11:103 to 11:105)
And as for those who shall be blest, they shall be in the garden, abiding therein so long as the heavens and the earth remain, save as thy lord may will - a gift unending (the bliss would be everlasting and uninterrupted, and no one after once entering Paradise is ever in danger of being deprived of it). (Holy Quran 11:108)
