Fooly Cooly - Reviewed August 22, 2003 Webmaster Score - 10 out of 10 FlameShadow20031 Score - 10 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "For those of you who are looking for an anime with cuddly, shiny eyed animals and loose socks wearing teenage girls with high bubbly voices and uniforms with bows bigger than on a Christmas gift, THIS AIN'T THE ONE! This anime makes it's own rules...then blasts them to a pulp!" FlameShadow20031 - "It is the funniest show I have ever seen! This is one of the true must see series. It ranks with Bebop, Eva, Trigun in it's content and action, and you will hurt your sides from laughing so hard!"
Favorite Scenes: Webmaster - "I love the last magna scene because, unlike the first one, it ends abruptly, and the father actually mentions the show's writers and cartoonists!" FlameShadow2003 - "The first magna scene! It is hilarious, and you don't need your brain at all during it!"

Cowboy Bebop - Reviewed August 29, 2003 Webmaster Score - 9 out of 10 FlameShadow20031 Score - 10 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "The only reason I didn't give this one a solid 10 is because it's too short! 26 episodes are just not enough for this great anime! It's like you're watching a great mini-movie, and it's so good, you almost forget your're watching a cartoon! The music is out of this world! FlameShadow20031 - "Great music, cool characters, gunfights and Kung-Fu! Faye needs to show more skin! A classic anime, one everyone can enjoy. It's not a sissy anime (Cardcaptors, Pokemon, etc...) and the action sequences are on par with Evangelion."
Favorite Session: Webmaster - "Jammin' With Edward, because Ed is just like me, a barefoot, crazy computer whiz with goggles (except mine are glasses)..." FlameShadow2003 - "Speak Like A Child, I couldn't stop laughing at everyone, especially Faye at the end!"
Hamtaro - Reviewed September 4, 2003 Webmaster Score - 8 out of 10 FlameShadow20031 Score - 0 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "A perfect anime for little kids and big kids as well. It's a refreshing excape from today's fast action anime, even if it is a little sappy sweet. I love the idea of hamsters having their own little clubhouse and having their own adventures while their owners are away! The end theme song is enough to make any grown man run away in fear, and the hamsters are a little...syrupy, but overall, a pretty great anime!" FlameShadow20031 - "This show is so kiddie, I feel like throwing up. It's too cute and I can't tolerate it one bit! This show is too cute and childish, and it has the most annoying characters ever!"
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "Jingle The Poet and The Baby Goat. You just gotta love a guitar-carrying, poem-writing, freelance hamster and this was the first time that an anime cartoon ever showed or mentioned where babies come from. That takes guts on a kids show!" FlameShadow2003 - "I can't tolerate any episode"
Android Kikaider: The Animation - Reviewed September 5, 2003 Webmaster Score - 8 out of 10 FlameShadow20031 Score - 6 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "The ultimate robot anime! Usually robot anime is all fighting with no real plot. Kikaider is different. I can't exactly explain why, but it's unlike any robot anime I ever seen! The animation is one of a kind...(Unless you count "Cyborg 009") and the characters, especially Jiro fit the plot to a tee! An android in a human world...it's almost poetic! I had to take off points for the abrupt ending, and the lack of episodes! Other than that, pure gold! FlameShadow20031 - "It's a good anime, but the early episodes detract from the series, and it only gets good as it goes farther in the series. The early episodes suck! Jiro is really cool cause he has the guitar and the bike, and the mai evil robot is a really cool guy. Other than that, there are too many characters in the show."
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "The scene where Mitisko ad Masaru's mom, after admitting her involvement with the bad guys, raises a gun to her head, and, in front of her son and daughter, she kills herself. That was the first time I EVER saw this in ANY anime, and it will stick with me for a long time." FlameShadow2003 - "The makeout scene between Jiro and Mitisko..." O.o
Trigun - Reviewed September 5, 2003 Webmaster Score - 10 out of 10 FlameShadow20031 Score - 10 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "Now, I will be the first to admit, I HATE westerns! So when I first saw the previews for Trigun, I thought for sure I would hate it! But, after watching the first few episodes, I was hooked! Vash the Stampede is one of the coolest characters in anime, comparable only to Spike from Cowboy Bebop! The characters are perfect for their enviroment, and the plot and storylines are absolute gold! This is an anime for the ages!" FlameShadow20031 - "Great laughs, great characters, cool gunfights, cute women, and more twists than that twisty spaghetti! Trigun is your not so average human wrecking machine (Vash) and it's suprising he (Vash) doesn't eat more donuts. However, the cat is annoying!"
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "The episode when Nicholas D. Wolfwood (the priest) is introduced! I love his shouts of "Praise the Lord!" It's the first time I ever heard religion mentioned in any anime!" FlameShadow2003 - "The episode with the gunfighting tournament. It's so funny!"
Beyblade (Beyblade V-Force) - Reviewed September 5, 2003 Webmaster Score - 0 out of 10 FlameShadow20031 Score - 0 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "Now, I consider myself a pretty openminded individual...I'm open to try new things, I'm open to new experiences, but when it comes down to Beyblade, THAT'S where I close up like a clam shell. If there was ANY anime that I couldn't stand the most it's this one! The characters are medicore and singleminded, the plot and storyline never changes, and the action is a weak as a tea made with a used tea bag!" FlameShadow20031 - "Two words: IT STINKS! It's worse than Hamtaro!"
Favorite Episode" Webmaster - "The episode when they all choke and pass out on their beyblades!" FlameShadow2003 - "PHBT!"
Inuyasha - Reviewed September 12, 2003 Webmaster Score - 10 out of 10 Webmaster BMnet (Stand in for FlameShadow20031) Score - 8 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "From the opening theme to the ending theme, this anime is one of the greatest in the world! The characters are perfect, the storyline is addictive and action packed, and the relationship between Inuyasha and Kagome is nothing short of brilliant! Miroku is definately the Playa of the Year!" Webmaster BMnet - "The characters and actions are good, but the conflict is a litte cliche. One of the main conflicts of the story is Inuyasha and Sessomaru. The good vs evil brothery hate was used in a lot of western cartoons. Double Dragon, Sonic, to name a few."
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "When Inuyasha and Kagome first meet! It was priceless to see Kagome feel on Inuyasha's ears while he was sleeping!" Webmaster BMnet - "My favorite episode? Well...I don't know any names, but it's the introduction of the...wolf king or prince (Koga). A long time sense I watched Inuyasha to know his name.
Rurouni Kenshin - Reviewed September 12, 2003 Webmaster Score - 8 out of 10 Webmisstress Attempted Neko Score - 7.5 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "One of the most involved anime to come along in a long time! The characters are terrific, and the setting is brilliant! The storyline is great...but it's just too long! Miss one episode, you're lost! Also, the names of the attacks could be shorter and less confusing! I know the writers were just being as accurate and realistic as possible, but there's a fine line between accuracy and confusing!" Webmisstress Attempted Neko - "The art and characters are really interesting, however, the story is drawn out a little too much... well, at least for my tastes. I mean, the entire series is a couple hundred episodes long, right? O.o;; At least 150+. It doesn't take that many episodes to tell the RK story. XD
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "I love the episode when they're all in the circus! That is the funniest thing I ever saw! Kenshin looked like a purple seal on that ball!" Webmisstress Attempted Neko - "Ehhh, I don't really have one. ^^;"
.hack//Sign - Reviewed September 19, 2003 Webmaster Score - 9 out of 10 Webmaster BMnet Score - 10 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "The closest thing to an anime soap opera ever! With the widescreen effect to the flawless animation, .hack//sign proves that anime can't be all action to be all good! I did have to deduct a point for the complexity of the plot. Like Kenshin, if you miss a few episodes, it's kinda hard to catch back up! Other than that, an anime for grown ups! Webmaster BMnet - "it was awesome! It felt like i was traped inside the game, and that was the bad thing about it! the people inside the game didn't act like anime characters or real world characters, they act like they were like the game, interacting like so, too, and the cat is just plain crepy!"
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "My favorite episode was when Tsukasa remembers his life in the real world. It's so deep, and we really get an idea into his..er...her...emotions and feelings!" Webmaster BMnet - "My favorite episode is when Tsukasa babysat the pushingo...but it died....poor cow...I mean Pushingo..."
Pokemon - Reviewed September 19, 2003 Webmaster Score - 7 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 3 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "A timeless classic! Pokemon will be long remembered as one of the most well known and popular anime in the world, rilved only by DragonBall Z! However, with all these new seasons and new pokemon, it can get a bit confusing! And for those who now watch other anime cartoons, it may seem a little kiddy. Other than that, one of the greatest anime in the world." FlameShadow20031 - "It's worth a good laugh every once in a while, especially Brock hitting on any woman he can find in sight. Ash is a weirdo, Misty needs to tone down her attitude and Brock is totally out of it."
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "The first episode is a classic! It's when Ash and Pikachu first meet, and we get to see how their relationship starts off!" FlameShadow20031 - "It'll be the last one, if that ever happens."
Blue Gender - Reviewed September 28, 2003 Webmaster Score - 7 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 8 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "If you watch the first few episodes, I can almost guarantee you'll hate it! I know I did! The characters were so cold and hard, it was almost sickening! But, once you get deeper into the series, when Marlene finally realizes her feelings for Yugi, it turns into one of the best anime cartoons of all time!" FlameShadow20031 - "Interesting idea, weird freaking bugs, and the people go through such a change it's incredible, and the violence is cool! Yugi and Marlene are totally different by the end of the show!"
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "The episode when Marlene and Yugi finally realize their feelings for each other! You could almost here a collective cheer all around the world when they finally kissed!" FlameShadow20031 -"The last one, cause it's cool! Second earth blows up, and that weird light in the cave!"

Digimon: Digital Monsters - Reviewed September 28, 2003 Webmaster Score - 10 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 7 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "On my list of all time favorite anime cartoons, Digimon is #1! I love the whole series, from Season 1, all the way to Season 4! From Tai to Takuya, Digimon: Digital Monsters is the best anime of all time since DragonBall Z!" FlameShadow20031 - "The first two seasons were excellent, but the last two were too confusing and weren't as cool. It was cool to have original characters in the second season, but the idea that the digimon were playing cards in the third season sucked and the fourth was just plain bad."
Favorite Episode Webmaster - "Season One, when they first wash up on the beach and they come across the telephone booths! I rolled on the ground laughing when I heard the operator on the other end! 'Please hang up, and don't call back' Hillarious!" FlameShadow20031 -"Season one, when the Metalgreymon appeared."
DragonBall / DragonBall Z / DragonBall GT - Reviewed October 4, 2003 Webmaster Score - 6 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 5 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "One of the worlds best known anime cartoons of all time, and by far, one of the most popular. However, DBZ doesn't strike a real chord with me! The episodes are action packed, and the characters are okay...but the animation is a bit...harsh, and all anybody seems to do 99.99% of the time is fight using these long named attacks!" FlameShadow20031 - "It's okay, but the whole saiyan thing is too weird and IT'S TOO LONG!"
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "The episode of DragonBall, where we first meet Goku and Bulma. The beginning of a legend!" FlameShadow20031 -"Trunks shows up."
Lupin The Third - Reviewed October 2, 2003 Webmaster Score - 9 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 10 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "Put the kids to bed, this is an anime for grown-ups! Lupin the Third has totally changed my outlook on criminals! The characters are perfect, and the episodes are so action packed, it leaves you longing for more! I took off one point because of the animation: in my opinion it looks a little grainy like 80's anime. Other than that, pure gold!" FlameShadow20031 - " It's just so fun to watch the craziness Lupin and the gang will get into each episode! I wish I had all the stuff Lupin has stolen!"

Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "Once again, I gotta go with the first episode!" FlameShadow20031 -"The one in Brazil! You know that gigantic statue of Jesus?"
Yu Yu Hakusho - Reviewed October 19, 2003 Webmaster Score - 9 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 8 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "This was the first anime I ever seen on the Adult Swim block, and from the first episode, I saw why! Yu Yu Hakusho contains more swears than almost any other anime! In fact, when Yu Yu moved into the Toonami afternoon slot, I kinda missed hearing Yusuke cuss out loud! Other than that, and Yusuke's 50's like hairstyle, a perfect anime!" FlameShadow20031 - "The idea that a kid with his problems would save a child is amazing, and then to find out the kid would have lived is hilarious! Yusuke is a funny guy, and Botan gives him all kinds of problems"
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "The episode when Yusuke is fighting the demon with the scottish accent and the pointy ears! His accent is so cool! FlameShadow20031 -"The very first one."
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Reviewed October 19, 2003 Webmaster Score - 7 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 8 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "I never really sat down and watched a full episode of Yu-Gi-Oh, but from what I saw, it's a pretty good anime! In my opinion it's kinda like Pokemon to a point, but this is a great deal better. The characters are perfect, and although the storyline is hard to follow, and the actual game is sorta complicated, It's not FlameShadow20031 - "It is a better idea of Pokemon. No actual monsters, and the creatures are darker and cooler, and the idea that Yugi has to save the entire world from madmen all the time is great!"
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "Like I said before, I haven't sat down and watched a full episode! But, if I had to choose...I would say when Yugi and the creator of Duel Monsters battle." FlameShadow20031 -"When he (Yugi) duels the fake Kaiba in part two!"

The Big O - Reviewed February 15, 2004 Webmaster Score - 8 1/2 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 8 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "I'm gonna be honest, I really didn't like this anime when it first came out. I thought this was just another giant robot anime...HOW WRONG I WAS! This is unlike any robot anime I ever seen! Poetry in motion! A little too dark for my tastes, and hard to follow at times, but other than that, it's totally kawaii!" FlameShadow20031 - "It is an excellent spin on the giant robot genre of anime, and it gives the feeling that you don't know what's really going on, even when it ends."
Favorite Episode: Webmaster - "The episode when Roger lays down the "all black in the house" rule for Dorthy, who replies that his sense of style really reeks!" FlameShadow20031 -"When Norman shoots all those pink robots at the house."
Wolf's Rain- Reviewed May 26, 2004 Webmaster Score - 9 out of 10 Investigative Reporter FlameShadow20031 Score - 9 out of 10
Opinions: Webmaster - "It honestly scared the living daylights when I tuned into Wolf's Rain and heard Tai's voice come out of a wolf! It scared me even more when I heard Izzy's voice come out of yet another wolf! But, that aside, this is a great anime! Plot lines and characters are perfect! Only one thing kept it from being a perfect 10...Kiba's clothes...Nuff said." FlameShadow20031 - "ITo be truthful this is one of the most original series I have ever seen in my anime experience! The basic idea that humans evolved and can turn into wolves is just so dang cool, and the voice actors they use for this series make it all that much better!"
Favorite Episode Webmaster - "The 2nd episode when we meet Toboe. You almost forget that he's a wolf in human's clothing...so to speak! Plus the addition of Izzy's voice is funny as heck!" FlameShadow20031 -"The very first one because it's just so dang cool!"

Opinions: Webmaster - "Take Yu Yu Hakusho, mix in a bit of Lupin the Third, add a dash of Cowboy Bebop, season liberly with Furi Curi, and you get the best anime cartoon this month! Everything about this anime is perfect...except for the beginning and end title sequences...me no understand! Other than that, marvelous! FlameShadow20031 - "I like the idea that a kid wants to be like Sherlock Holmes. He's cool, smart, has a great thinking process and knows how to spot things others don't. Plus the fact he's a pervert really cranks up the laughs!

Favorite Episode Webmaster - "The first episode! The way Jimmy picks up on those subtle clues in the separate cases will bring a tear to Sir Author Conan Doyle's eyes! Who needs Watson? Not him!" FlameShadow20031 -"The first one! It's a nice episode to not only set up who the characters are, but to see Jimmy in action twice, and it establishes the main villian!"
