| Allow me to introduce myselves *grin* . My spirit name is Khai-Awaru Dhaarkhanh, and I am a no-nonsense weretiger/lion/jaguar/leopard, and I specialize in "awakening" other werecreatures. Simply put, werecreature is a person who has the spirits of one or more animals "living" inside of them. (If you want to know more about this, click here). My animal spirits save for my jaguar come from a very ancient place somewhere in Northern India or Kashmir. This heritage is not by blood, but by spirit. My jaguar spirit comes from ancient Mesoamerica, the Mexica culture to be exact. How he was acquired, I'll never know, but he's a part of me, and I of him. These spirits are not just aspects of me, they are separate parts linked to the entirety of "me". "From one, many, and from many, one," says I. That's the best way I can explain the mystery of my spirit. My veiws are conservative in the ancient sense, and it is these veiws that shape my way of thinking, my outlook on life being that of a realist. | |||||||||||||||||

I knew from a very early age, when in my third year in grade school, that I was very different from all the other kids...or was I? I always thought of myself as "cat" not "boy" (I'll get into this more later). After high school, I entered into that hectic period when one MUST do something, one MUST go to college, one MUST find a way to contribute to society, What most people don't realize is that there is a purpose for us in this world; it doesn't matter if you went to college right away or you were voted Most Likely to Succeed in your senior class, or if you were one of the nameless faces that no one ever sees again. | In October of 1999, I felt an urge to do a search about werewolves. I don't know why, it was just a curiosity. So I checked out several sites on the web, and sorted out the roleplaying ones from the real thing. Not only did I find others who believed they were different, but I found a lot of information that revealed the truth about werecreatures. Then I found out that I was one of these creatures. The funny thing is it was no big suprise. It was as if I had always known. Doing some more searching, I found my other "family", a group of werecreatures who are very dear to me, and who've helped me throughout my period of self discovery, a period which will last a lifetime. | The year is 2002. Much has changed since 1999. I am an "awakener". I teach people how to use their animal spirits, and teach what it is the animals are so desperately trying to teach us. Now, I'm not a tree-hugger, I use 'em to climb and to mark my territory and to make medicines. I'm not a bunny hugger, rabbits is gooood eatin'! I am a patriot, I am a good being, and hopefully a good teacher of this path. This is not one cat's path, but the path of many, one that a few can walk, and one that precious few can teach. It enriches one's life, not through money, or through power to hold over others (the natural balance of the universe holds that in check...well...it tries), not through bloodlust or hate, but by love. Love is an act of survival. When one is willing to give up everything, including their life, to protect another from harm...that is love. When one is willing to put forth his or her beliefs, not FORCING them, but putting them forth, and should those beliefs help another turn his or her life around for the better...that is love.
