Who Am I ?

My friends on the band call me  Noel . I was introduced to the hobby since  1985. It was  " a communication just for fun " when i bought a 40-channel CB radio that me and my  YL used . My interest on the band grows stronger  when  I moved back to the Philippines on 1988 .I  had seen lot of  old friends on the VHF band. The excitement of the band really encourages me to join them, but I  was really hesitant to operate without license so,they urged me to take the National TeleCommunications ( NTC ) examinations on 1989, and  i  was lucky enough to passed and earned my first DY license. So then, I started to  feel  the real spirit of being a license operator. The fun is just starting  when  another oppurtunity comes along my way. I have to move back to Saipan . My long awaiting job application was approved. As soon as I reached Saipan, the KH0 land, the   first thing that comes into my mind is to meet local  HAMS, and it was on that meeting that they  encouraged me to take the Federal Communications Commission ( FCC ) examinations on  August 1994.  Sure enough, luck goes with me again after several sleepless nights browsing the book, Now You're Talking, i passed my Novice and Technician class and got my call sign KH0CW.  I enjoy the  VHF band so much and earned more  friends  on the band.
All  along  I thought VHF band will be good enough for me but i was wrong. As i seen fellow hams chasing DX and joining contest, i decided to upgrade my ham call and i finally got my General upgrade last March 23,2000.
Now I am working my way to upgrade to Extra class, but one thing for sure that i already made up my mind that Ham radio will be my life-long hobby.
I almost forgot, when I am not on the band, I am on the internet browsing sites of fellow hams.
