| Profile Birthday: October 30, 1980 Birth Place: Nango, Miyazaki Eye Colour: Brown Hair Colour: Brown Spoken Languages: Japanese, English Bio Chihiro Onitsuka, is a female Japanese music singer, songwriter and pianist. She started singing, performing and writing in high school. She debuted with the single Shine in early 2000. It did not manage to reach the Oricon charts, but it caused many people to become interested in her music. Her next single named Gekkou was released a few months later and it reached #11 in the Oricon charts. This was probably made possible because this song was the ending song to a popular j-dorama: "Trick". Cgihiros lastest single, Sodatsu Zassou, was a rock-style song, a change from her usual folk-pop style. After the single release she announced that she would go on hiatus due to throat surgery. |
