The environment is a big issue today, with groups like Green Peace, The Sierra Club, and others demonstrating against its perceived destruction. Yet there has to be a limit to which we protect the environment. Some of the issues involved are nuclear energy for electricity versus coal, oil, hydro-electric power, tidal power, and solar power. We also have the issue of land use and currently polluted streams, lakes and lands. On the one side of these issues are people who believe nature is sacred and man is the intruder. On the other side you have greedy industrialists who really don't care whether or not their factories are polluting the environment. Sometimes people even get diseases from this pollution. Of course there are many industrialists who are responsible and would not knowingly pollute rivers, the land or the air, in as much as is possible. Most people fall in between the two extremes. How about you?
